How to spot fake Versace Dylan Blue perfume
This perfume does not persist, it is a disappointment, when it was launched, the perfume costs 100 euros ... now it costs 50 euros ... the original does not work ... rest assured, you are not the first to wonder why the original perfume does not persist. .. has a very bad chemistry recipe.
The box is identical ... only the serial number differs ... the fake doesn't have it.
The logo on the front perfume bottle is imperfect.
The serial number on the original bottle must be written in white, to be straight, not random. If this code is not identical to the code on the bottom of the box, you are faced with a fake perfume.
The original sprayer is black, while the fake one is white.
The original push button represents the company logo.

Yup, with Versace the weight of the cap is a dead giveaway. Also the real boxes darker blue.
There is Richer gold and there is a Medusa head on top of the pump, dead giveaway.
With all that being said,
It's really crazy how these fakes are so incredibly close.
If you’re not in a place of good lighting, a dead giveaway is the flame at the bottom is MUCH more clean on the details and outlines. The entire box has lazer precision font on the gold vs the fake is sloppy and thicker, not as fine and clean
Thank you so much for this! I just had mine delivered and the box was a little beat up so I had my doubts. This video helped put me at ease, with the Medusa on the pump, darker color of the bottle/box, and the batch number on both the bottle and the box all being present in mine.

A shelf life of cosmetics depends on a period after opening and production date.
Period after opening (PAO)Period after opening (PAO). Some cosmetics should be used within a specified period of time after opening due to oxidation and microbiological factors. Their packaging has a drawing of an open jar, inside it, there is a number representing the number of months. In this example, it is 6 months of use after opening.
Production date. Unused cosmetics also lose their freshness and become dry. According to EU law, the manufacturer has to put the expiration date only on cosmetics whose shelf life is less than 30 months. The most common periods of suitability for use from the date of manufacture:
Perfumes with alcohol - about 5 years
Skin care cosmetics - minimum 3 years
Makeup cosmetics - from 3 years (mascara) to more than 5 years (powders)
The shelf life may vary depending on the manufacturer.
THANK YOU!! I was suspicious of the bottle of Dylan Blue bought on: A…..an. I now believe it is fake, but a slightly BETTER fake than your: Made in Turkey bottle. Buying a REAL bottle at an Authorized Dealer, a local department store to do a final comparison, because it’s that close. The first hint, was the weight, your “real” one, weighs 337 grams. Mine weighs: 345 grams. And the bottle, in a gift set, has no box, wrapped in white paper with Versace printed all over it. And the “white” numbers, on the bottom, are crooked, (not in a straight line), are smaller sized, and in the wrong place on the bottom label. The bottle also has many scuff marks in the glass. The “Medusa” in the middle of the bottle, is ever so slightly off. THANK YOU SO MUCH for making this video!!! I only wish you talked during the video. Very upset!! SO TIRED of all this FAKE stuff! EVERYTHING is being faked!!

Las versiones tester no se asusten por la pegatina que va en el frasco (es distinta) en este caso Versace Dylan b. va por el lado no abajo. aunque el batch code si va abajo solo.

Mine, from reputable seller, has the slight ripples on the glass. I now see the real one here has those ripples and imperfections also. Mine is dead-on on every detail and lasts 4-6 hours, but those glass imperfections were bothering me. Thanks for video, relieved.

Fragrence X and Fragrence Net both sell legitimate products. They're just grey market items which means they were liquidized from larger retail stores like Macy's so they're able to sell them at a bargain.

Todo está muy bien en el que he comprado pero, solo un detalle, la etiqueta debajo del frasco está un poco desalineada (no está perfectamente centrada y alineada en la base del frasco) pero si contiene todo y el código de verificación blanco... También sobre ese código de verificación (para aclarar esta fragancia la compre en un kit de viaje donde viene el perfume, una bolsa y un travel spray) así que no puedo encontrar en el empaque ese código de verificación PERO en el frasco si está y luce idéntico al que muestran en este vídeo como el original

No batch code makes it very easy to tell its a fake, doesn't matter how good it may look all big "western" designer brands have a matching batch code on the box and bottle or else its 100% a fake.
Whenever I buy a fragrance now, I look to see if you have a fake Vs real :)

Well… according to this excellent video I got a legitimate product from Amazon, but I’m not happy with its performance, last check would be, a performance comparison with a bottle from Sephora or Dillards.

i just got my hands on a new Dylan Blue and the first thing i did was check for its authenticity. everything matches the characteristics of a real one but my centered golden medusa is not perfectly centered. does that mean its a fake? (measured the weight, type of cardboard, the batch codes are matching and everything seems to be of good quality)

Same with mine… mine also has and FSC Mix Packaging box up top on the bottom… my numbers match on box and bottle, and the smell is identical to the small samples I ordered… I think they just updated the box & labeling, this video is two years old

anyone can engrave a serial number… this does not make it original… certain safety features make a difference… the weight of the bottle… the weight of the lid… the company logo (if it has no wipes… no extra material)

Can anyone guide me. I have compared mine with the original one all of the things are 100% same except the batch code. So it is fake or not? I can't find a single difference in the bottle as compared to the original one.
The real one should have a second Medusa head on the top part that you push to spray the cologne
Your batch code will be different from the one in the video, mine’s different too, because they weren’t part of the same batch that came out of the factory. As long as it actually has one, and it matches the code on the bottom of the box it came in, you’re fine 😊
The batch code is primarily there so if they find a faulty product (e.g. broken bottle, half full when new, broken spray, something wrong with the ingredients causing rashes, etc…) they can use the code to identify which batch it came from and recall them all easily.

@@FakeCip Not so fast. The Versace Dylan Blue sold at AD, The box is all black, silver lettering, the royal blue box, they are telling me, is “old stock”. Maybe the reason the “real” blue boxed ones people are buying at Wally World, have that “alcohol” smell, and don’t last long, are because of “age”. My “real” Dylan Blue, seems to last north of 8 hours+, and no alcohol smell.

How does the fake smell and perform? If it is good, then id be ok with the fake
The smells are almost identical, but the fake perfume does not persist even 10 minutes, those who make the fakes can never reproduce the basic note.

Lol the fake one says made in turkey on bottom of box, Versace is an Italian brand and not made in turkey so it obvious fake.
So, how does the Fake smell compared to the Real authentic one?

Mine lasts long time. I can smell it on my skin even after 8 hours. If you spray four or five sprays (neck and arms) people will definitely smell you.

My new bottle I ordered from Walmart (sold & shipped) passes all authentication tests, but has a stronger alcohol smell and is weaker than a bottle I purchased from Macy's. The batch code says it's only 4 months old, but something is off.

The smells are identical... but after 5 minutes the fake perfume doesn't last at all... it's not worth skimping on a few extra dollars... the original perfume even lasts 24 hours on clothes... not to mention the skin diseases you can contact ... and there are certain cases in which they did not get rid of them all their lives ...
