This is so true. With defensive midfielders I literally only pump stats in defence, aerial ability and some speed. They protect that back 4 so well
exactly what i do. i boost stats where player is already good at.
I train most of my players to be able to play two different play styles at the expense of overall rating. I can switch between Possession and Out Wide in the middle of a match and stay above 90 Team Playstyle Level. Works well when one strategy is not working.
Also for your 2100-Squad it is better to buy some 70-75 cheap Players and train them up to 75-80 by only increasing the really needed stats for their position. If you buy player with a overall 80 on they level 1 you will have a worse player for the specific position.
I have 9 93+rated cards and 2 55-rated players (LB and RB)
When I started playing eFootball I made a lot of mistakes with stats of players…..as time goings I really saw that Overall rating is not important in this game ….. now I train players according to the position I want the player. I mostly look at skills and attributes to train players accordingly

I’ve always been upgrading the players for my playstyle instead of overall rating. It seems like my players are always much lower rated than everyone elses but it doesn’t matter😁
Hi, urgent question. I bought the Argentinian premium package and trained Tagliafico as a left midfielder. "efootball DB" said Tagliafico was going to play as left midfielder as 93 with my improvements but when I put him it play as 86 . Why this appen? I thougth he would have bern 93
That's what I've been doing for a while cause I want players to be more suited for each role. Always sacrificed points for team play style and let that up the player's overall rating
Thx for this vid. Due to this point a lot of POTW-Versions are worse than their standard versions. What do you think about player with higher acceleration than speed feel more agile and manoeuvrable? For offensive players I try to consider this (acc>>speed). For defensive players I have often speed over acc.

I've never used auto-allocation or followed training guides. I know Mane can go up to 95, but I decided to put more emphasis on finishing rather than dribbling when I trained him, so my version is 92, but I'm happier with his individual stats.
Yep exactly, you’ve done the right thing. I’ve turned Cmf players like goretzka into a defensive monster but his player AI still let’s him roam forward
I try to get them as close as possible to the type of player I think they are...
Doesn't always create the best players, but it works for me.
But going that way is way more beneficial for your playstyle than having them at highest overall.

My biggest issue is my defense. I have no problems in keeping possession of the ball, shooting & crossing but I almost always concede a goal especially in the 1st half. Keeping clean sheets is my struggle. Maybe I should increase the stats of my defenders & defensive midfielders. Maybe sticking to a 4-3-3 formation exposes my defence? I don’t know🤷🏻♂️ Any tips, ideas, suggestions from anyone in this community is more than welcome 🙏
make your cm a dm and let him sit in front of the defense
Get an anchorman and put him as a DMF
Giroud from France pack ,i increase only header ,jumping and contact ,i need him only for play with head .And now he have 99 all of that ,and i use him only for that situations .I have fast players enough..
You need to increase his offensive awareness too..
Since he will positioning him self better with higher offensive awareness..
I screwed up an entire squad worth of cards when I first started because I completely neglected play style 😂…. Including the only 2 free legends I ever got, Maradona and Guti. To say playing with a good squad that was running on a 74 play style rating was frustrating was an understatement. 😅 I was thinking the manager was the only variable with play style rating. Oops! Thanks for the video. Anything you guys can do to turn this title into less of a button mashing fest and more of a strategic thing may well just reduce the number of meta abusing goobers out there!
I always train my forward to high finishing and offensive awareness coz i don't use stunning shoot.. my 99% shoots are curl

Sounds like those FIFa Elitest trying to think high overalls always will win out. Some players have been conditioned to believe this but it aint the case here.

i had my free romario untrained for a very long time, cause at the time i was so scared to mess with his overall rating but now i upgraded him as i see fit lol

How orchestrator playstyle works?
they are some kind of deep lying playmakers.
camavinga is the best orchestrator in this game with vitinha. ive used my man kimmich, kroos, modric. hes best at his job. he does it all, defend, pass, dribble. a hidden gem.

This does not work. I had 5 Hari Kane and again I trained them in different ways. And they were all exactly the same. the same with Barella. It seems to me that the strength of the player is hardwired into his model and skills. And training doesn't matter. That's why right now I'm training players on the machine.

Mostly you can recognize the difference for Speed & Acceleration. Try out to train two versions of a player with a difference of 5-10 points in Speed and/or acceleration. You will feel the difference. The differences are in the key stats of every position (e.g. off awarness for CF; ball-control & tight possenion for CMF; def awareness for CF; kicking power & curl for crossing specialist)
@@viadorw7606 Usually having speed more than acc tends to make player more slugish. So having 4-6 more acc than speed is always better but sometimes impossible. Also balance is very important stat

The trainers are already gone once you have done 'Level training' even if you do not do 'Player progression'. So yes, as he mentioned in the video he has spent his trainers.

By playing all offline (with AI) modes and selling some duplicates or 3 star players. I got almost the same number of trainers.
Here are some tips how I make a lot of xp without investing real money.
--> Buy a standard player for 100k GP and sell him. You will get 10k xp trainer. (10k xp = 100k GP)
--> Build a squad only with DF, choose a manager with 300% xp boost for DF players and run Simulation Games against AI beside you watch TV
--> Build a squad only with MF, choose a manager with 300% xp boost for MF players and run Simulation Games against AI beside you watch TV
--> Build a squad only with FW, choose a manager with 300% xp boost for FW players and run Simulation Games against AI beside you watch TV

what was the point of buying 2 camavinga's when all u did was showing the stats at efootballdb? 😂
Because EFootballDB can only show you the stats, he said he is going to train him up in real time to show why he trains players certain ways. So he will likely be using Camavinga throughout his match playing content to show how training him up one way will improve him in the role that he wants him to play, whilst the other one will likely be trained in areas that wouldn't really be needed but get his overall at its highest possible, simply to show how key stats are more important than overall.
I'm in a fan group on Facebook and any time someone posts their team and has a 100 overall, it's full of people asking what stats to add to get their player to 100 too as opposed to training them to stats in areas that suit their team and personal play style.
@@ericdalziel7011 but that was my point, he showed us everything on efootballdb without actually training his camavingas up in-game, you can literally show everything on efootballdb, and that's what he did

This is what spoony pizzas was talkin about couple months ago. Ppl are obsessed with highest overall and it was proven many times that going that way is just wrong. Highest overall is cosmetic thing and not actual value.
