Actually love that you stuck with out wide. That shows me that I'm just really good with my tactics and I didnt find some game breaking meta. Probably the best thing about the game is the tactics and players (including how you level them up) is so diverse, even with the tactics being slimmed down from pes, that nobody is playing the exact same way. Nobody, to my knowledge, has found the definitive best way to play. Mirroring real football, it's about playing how you want to play and mastering your style along with your players. The only way to win consistently is running a system that suits the way you play the game and your philosophy of football. Klopp, for instance, may be considered a tactical mastermind with his high pressing heavy metal style, but that wouldn't work for every team and many teams have found as much or more success playing entirely differently. With tactics and training in efootball, you can develop your style and teach your players to perform it just like klopp or Ancelotti or any of the managerial elite
One thing I noticed in this video is the depth of your reserves. I'd recommend slimming your squad size down to around 35 players. Anyone that you know you'd rather start an out-of-form star over them on their best day should be released to give you more training programs. You do need depth so you're not shit out when your best guys get a D or E live update, but if you got guys who aren't really contributing, they can best serve you to level up the guys who do. I hope my longwindedness is atleast helping your channel with interactions. Lol
Actually just a couple days ago I fielded a back-up squad of perisic, lucas barrios, mkhitaryan, kagawa, gotze, weigl, Guerreiro, hummels, ginter, bartra, and kobel against a loaded team running that formation and walked away 1-1 and probably should've won but barrios whiffed a couple sitters

I like to use deep line for partey it’s great option because it gives you 4th man at back especially if you got 3 defenders so partey for me will always come help defence so it’s 4 man not 3 when neeeded
Agree…Konami should cut down on this. Team pushed up higher even you try not to. Perhaps not completely cut down as it happened in real game but minimise.

Quick counter and out wide are really great, but if you're a patient player who like to pass through the middle, you'd maybe have better luck running possesion. Or if you like countering but want your defense to sit deep and prevent counters against you cause high pressing is getting you carved up, you might want to play long ball.
I use long ball counter and i'm in division 2 comfortably. You can still play some possession style football when you need to, and it also keeps it tight at the back.
I agree it's the best if you play much possession. But ball possession game is the worst. You won't score because players never make a run and you will have less possession than the other team
Question: how can you turn on the sub-tactic whilst in game? Or do you have to do it whilst pausing the game and manually doing it? Also does Attack 1, 2 relate to going Attacking / Defensive in game? Or do those settings apply to Attacking, Balanced and Defensive modes whilst in game? Thanks!
No you just need to hold the d-pad down for few seconds, To be able to use sub-tactics till it says defense, if you quickly push down it’s not the same things, I hope this helps
I play possesion and all my player have 99 posssion but they dont like to play possesion most of the time. They dont come to the ball as often i wish and they stay to far away from ball. So most of the time my passes get intercepted. I play the Bruyne, Maria and Iniesta. 2 Creative Playmaker and one classic nr10 so i dont know whats the problem. It never was a problem in pes21 because you can set the distance how far player will come to the ball e.t.c but in this game it sucks. There is absoulte not tactic setting, do you want to defend passiv or agressve e.t.c not in this game. And why can i only use 4 commands in this game 2 offensive and 2 defensive. I have to waste my 2 defensive commands to say Marcelo and Hakimi they should not come forward. So i cant use the other command to say my 2 middfielder to come forward further. This game is bullshit and i dont talk about that kick off shit, lagy connections and other bugs and why do players need an half hour to stop after sprint to turn, very realistic XD I win 80-90 % of my games but this game makes me more angry day to day what an unfinished mess. Looking forward to Ufl.

I know how to switch from normal tactics to sub tactics by holding up or down (offensive and defensive). But I notice that both set of tactics you are able to set individual instructions (attack 1, attack 2, defense 1 and defense 2). Are these individual tactics always on for the corresponding tactics you are playing? Or are they related to the attacking, all out attack, balanced, etc. which you activate with tapping up and down?

Most SS's are very versatile attackers and can be played all across the front line. Depending on who you have, you might want to run the as a normal center forward or a false 9 or part of a front 2 paired with an out and out striker. Like dybala is fantastic on the wing. Muller is best in a front 2. Griezmann has a 70+ in almost every stat so you can train him to play any style. Put most of your progression points into finishing and he's a center forward. Put them into crossing and pace and youve got a great winger. Dribbling and passing to turn him into a cam. SS's are usually extremely versatile but can be tricky to get the most out of them. I would try a couple games with your guy at each of the positions he's proficient in and see where he is most effective or just slot him into whatever position you're most in need.
I use neymar as Ss on the left of a 3 with 2 Cf. It gives him licence to drop a bit deeper and pick up the ball and run at the defence, cut inside or take it out wide and he comes short centrally too to play through balls to the front 2. He is usually my most influential player.

If you look at most of the best players in Div1 they all play 4-3-3 with 3 CF, and 3 CB. Quick counter as well. That is the meta.

If anything they lack width and would be even more susceptible to out wide players

I genuinely think our wide is the best, especially for newcomers if you want to improve and learn to defend by cutting out passing lanes etc
