Sliver mine tours were offered here in park city, UT back in the old days but not anymore. Cool that mine tours are still offered here. Thanks for sharing!
Amazing how the gold mine in USA is so similar to the copper mine we visited last month in Cornwall, UK. Fascinating to see! You'd have made a fortune in the gold rush!!
LOL nice intro ! Cool Gold Mine ! Thanks for taking us with you on the tour ! Very interesting and loved it ! Thumbs up #64 and hope you guy's had a Happy Valentine's Day !
We were just on a mine tour in Spain last week. They are closing all the mines in Spain soon. We were also in Butte Montana this past summer and saw an old mine that was closed down. They are very interesting. My family worked in the mines for many years. Great video!
I had no idea they were closing the mines down in Spain! They are really cool to visit. I would like to visit some other ones to compare how this one stacks up to the others!
I don't think they let you in existing working mines but they have turned at least one that we went in into a museum. I guess they have slowly been closing them down for a while. I think they all will be closed down within 1-2 years.
Very interesting and informative video dear Josh! I hope that you've find some gold there! In the case you didn't don't be sad because you already have your diamond girl! She is adorable! Congratulations for an excellent job dear Josh! Keep up that way! Thanks for sharing such an amazing video! Thumbs up guys!
Great gold mine tour! Never heard of the place before. This is about 50 years after gold was discovered in Sutter's Mill in California. Fascinating - gold panning sure took a lot of patience! Would love to visit one day! Thumbs up 64
It was a neat tour! I would like to go see some other places like this to see the difference between the mines! It would have taken a lot time for sure!
This the largest mine in the Dahlonega, Ga area. But these mountains contain a lot of abandoned gold mines in isolated and not so isolated areas. Nice video.
I find it neat that certain areas have these little pockets of gold rich places. I didn't realize there were other mines in the area, but it makes total sense!
That was cool! We did a little panning in Colorado, but it was nothing like this and no tour either! I’m putting this on my list! Fire in the hole! Ha ha! I like how they put the gold in the little vial for you.
Yeah this was a really neat experience! Our guide was awesome (as you saw) which made the whole thing extra special. It really is a neat experience when you get the chance to do it! Yup! Great souvenir!
Shout out to the tour guide! That guy was awesome! What a cool place, I been to quite a few similar places myself. Always so much fun going underground! Panned for gold once before in Black Hills SD. Great Video!!!
Super cool find! Loved tagging along in your travels! Keep the cam vlogging and new episodes coming. Super glad to discover your channel. Will binge a bit on your other episodes, lol. Following you now!
Thanks so much! I am excited to start filming with the new camera I have! I will be putting up a video about our adventures cutting down our christmas tree - and that is filmed with the new camera! Hopefully everyone will like it! It's a lot more fun and versatile than just the GoPro (but you'll be stuck with the GoPro footage for some time as I have a bunch of stuff filmed this summer that still needs to be released!
That looks a great place to visit. We have caves but sadly no gold them! Thank you for sharing. You and your loved ones have a great time at Christmas . Greetings from Julie, North Yorkshire.
Thanks Julie! It was a really cool place! I have been to other caves (Indian Cave and Window Cave in Puerto Rico (those are also good videos)) but this was the first gold mine!
When you begun I was wondering what's that you have never done. Those tunnels look interesting and abit claustrophobic. The guide is great at what he does. This is a tour I would definitely want to do
Haha, yeah, trying to start with messing up to break the ice! It was really neat! They were fairly big (at least I didn't mind them). The guide was fantastic. He knew a lot of stuff and seemed to have a really good time working - which is important! It was a lot of fun and I would want to do it again if I have the chance to visit another mine!
Wow! It was a very exciting tour. I think in the summer I will also make a visit to such a mine. I did not think it could be so exciting, but you proved it to me. Thank you! Like 👍
*_Great to see, a very interesting story, I would have loved to visit the mine. Great impressions for us, there is no such thing with us. Many thanks for the great contribution and many greetings from Germany, Angela_*
Thanks Angela! That's the cool thing about stuff like this - when you visit an area that has this, it is neat to do! This was the first time being at a gold mine - and it was a lot of fun!
It sounds like that is hard to do! Based on the comments, a ton of people went here for class trips and the like! I didn't realize it was this much of a popular place! I thought it was neat for the history - as we don't have any "open" gold mines like this around me.
Thanks a lot! I try and keep a mix of things to watch on here. A lot of beautiful hikes, some neat attractions like this, and then some cool city based videos as well!
Wow, that looked like a really interesting tour y'all went on!! Thanks for taking us along!! Ya have a new subscriber from east central Mississippi here!! Dan
Looks like a great tour! "Fire in the HOLE!" Now we know how to pan for gold. Seems like a bunch of work for little reward... ;-) Thanks for taking us on this adventure!
Haha, had to get that out of your system too huh? Yes, panning for gold would take forever! Hopefully people back in the day were getting bigger chunks than what we had, lol.
Cool trip! When we were in Alaska, we did a tour in Skagway where they let us pan for gold as well! I’m pretty sure the gold was seeded in there, but we did get a little and made like $30! Lol. Thanks for showing us your trip! I had no idea you could do this in Georgia!
Haha yeah, I'm pretty sure they put the same amount of flakes into each pan for us too! It was still really fun though. At least we didn't loose any in our panning efforts!
Very exciting, thrilling and complex journey. In my youth I participated with speleologists in the caves. Now it's harder :-( Romania (my country) has many known and very visited caves
Oh very neat! I went in a couple caves in Puerto Rico as well! Cueva del Indio / Indian Cave (2 videos) some some really cool carvings in the walls, and Window Cave (1 video) we had a tour similar to this one with some really neat formations!
Very good video, i do enjoy watching videos like this one.. Thanks for the share.. Happy Christmas and all the best for you and your family for the coming New Year... Carl
Good video. I'm from London and visited the mines about 20 years ago. Great experience, watching this was like being there again. Still have my 3 crumbs of gold in the vile. 😂✌
Thanks so much! This was a very neat place to visit. I haven't been to many mines yet, but after this, I am wanting to see more! Thanks so much for following along!
Love caves. By the sound of the tour guide there’s still a lot of gold in there. Probably not enough to make it worthwhile to mine. Very nice video Josh. I think you should change your channel name Marco Polo. Just kidding.
That tour guide was fantastic. There was a bunch of gold left, but like you said, not enough to open the mine once again! Haha, well I do try and travel as much as possible! Once you start, you can't stop! You realize how much joy you get out of it, and how worthless "possessions" are compared to seeing and experiencing new things!
Maybe it wouldn't have bothered you. I did find it spacious - it's as tall or big as any room, but I can see the mental side of being in a cave distort the actual size of where you would be at! It was a cool experience - first time in a mine like this. I would be interested in seeing others to compare!
Wow, what a cool experience! Very interesting tour learning about the mine. Was it creepy being in that tight space underground? I feel like I would freak out a bit haha
It really was neat! The tour was great (our guide was awesome) and it was fun learning to pan for gold as well! I didn't find it too tight (but then again that stuff doesn't bother me unless there isn't room around my head). That freaks me out.
Yeah it wouldn't have been a great job by any stretch of the imitation. Being stuck underground all day in dangerous conditions with poor pay. No thanks.
Thanks so much! It really is a neat area to visit. There isn't much else in this little town, but it was nice to break the camping up with visiting this mine! Great for all ages for sure!
Sliver mine tours were offered here in park city, UT back in the old days but not anymore. Cool that mine tours are still offered here. Thanks for sharing!
Based on what I've been hearing that is starting to be the trend - shutting down places like that! It was a lot of fun!
Amazing how the gold mine in USA is so similar to the copper mine we visited last month in Cornwall, UK. Fascinating to see! You'd have made a fortune in the gold rush!!
Hahaha, too bad I'm only 178 years off or so, lol.
LOL nice intro ! Cool Gold Mine ! Thanks for taking us with you on the tour ! Very interesting and loved it ! Thumbs up #64 and hope you guy's had a Happy Valentine's Day !
Haha thanks! This was a really cool spot to visit! It was my first time in a mine - so much fun!
We were just on a mine tour in Spain last week. They are closing all the mines in Spain soon. We were also in Butte Montana this past summer and saw an old mine that was closed down. They are very interesting. My family worked in the mines for many years. Great video!

Ah yes 3rd grade field trip memories, thanks for bringing em back
It seems like a lot of people went here on a school trip! It's neat that you have this kind of history - we enjoyed coming here to see what it's like!
Thanks! I would have preferred finding more than the 3 tiny pieces I did!! haha, but it was a lot of fun!
Great gold mine tour! Never heard of the place before. This is about 50 years after gold was discovered in Sutter's Mill in California. Fascinating - gold panning sure took a lot of patience! Would love to visit one day! Thumbs up 64

I went there for my field trip! it was so much fun! I recommend this place to go to
Yes, this mine is really cool! The first gold mine I have ever visited. Makes me want to see more!

There's gold in them there hills! very cool video. Thanks for taking us along on your tour.
Yes there is! Not very much in my pan though. Oh well, lol.
That was cool! We did a little panning in Colorado, but it was nothing like this and no tour either! I’m putting this on my list! Fire in the hole! Ha ha! I like how they put the gold in the little vial for you.

Looks like a great place to visit and very enthusiastic guide, many thanks.
Yes, he was a great guide! Really made the experience awesome.
Wow how interesting and very cool. Looks like a great day. Great information from the tour guide. Very much enjoyed and liked :)
Yes, he was really good! One of the best tour guide's I've had!
Shout out to the tour guide! That guy was awesome! What a cool place, I been to quite a few similar places myself. Always so much fun going underground! Panned for gold once before in Black Hills SD. Great Video!!!
I know! He really made things awesome.

Real interesting tour, that's for taking us along. Shame there was not a big golden nugget at the bottom for the pan! Cheers Alan
I hear ya there! Anything bigger than those 3 flecks would have been better. Can't be too picky!
Hey what's up Josh! I have been on a lot of mine tours but none like this one. This is a big one! Super cool bro! Thanks for sharing!
Yeah It was really big! It was an awesome tour, and our guide was great! Thanks so much for watching!
When you begun I was wondering what's that you have never done. Those tunnels look interesting and abit claustrophobic. The guide is great at what he does. This is a tour I would definitely want to do

it is cool you can go inside, great trip! interesting video liked!
Thanks friend Happy holidays!
Thanks so much! It was very neat to explore. Glad we had some one explain things!
Wow! It was a very exciting tour. I think in the summer I will also make a visit to such a mine. I did not think it could be so exciting, but you proved it to me. Thank you! Like 👍
I am glad this video inspired you! It was a lot of fun - I would do it again. It would be neat seeing differences between this and other mines!

Grew up in Dahlonega. Still have never stepped foot in the mine.

Josh the Travel Guy that’s good! I feel like we probably did lose some gold! Lol but it was still fun!
that guy really spiritful in giving the information
Yeah, this guy was a fantastic guide! We really enjoyed our tour and time with him.
Very exciting, thrilling and complex journey. In my youth I participated with speleologists in the caves. Now it's harder :-( Romania (my country) has many known and very visited caves

Interesting tour, Josh and cool video! I've never been in a gold mine. Thank you for taking us there. Liked !
Best wishes and Merry Christmas.

I am so glad we had a tour! Really enjoyed our guide - he was very good!
Very interesting....Thanks for taking us along....Good job, looks like you guys can retire well ;-)
Haha oh yes, enough gold in that pan to get us through this life and next I'd say!
Gold Mine, sounds much better than the black cole mines if visited in the south of our country of origin. Very nice video!
Haha yeah, I'd take the gold over coal for sure!
Very interesting excursion!
Thank you! It was a lot of fun. Something different to try!
Very cool, have never done this before, looks fun!
It was a cool experience! I would do it again!
Thats awesome, love when you go on a trip and end up wanting to do it again!
Great experience! so much fun!
Yes, this was very interesting to see! It was my first time being in a mine.
Very good video, i do enjoy watching videos like this one.. Thanks for the share.. Happy Christmas and all the best for you and your family for the coming New Year... Carl
Thanks Carl!
Interesting video...Never seen a gold mine :)) Thanks for sharing this. Best wishes for the new year!!!
Thank you so much! This was my first time as well! It was a lot of fun - I would do something like this again! Happy New Year to you as well!
Amazing and very informative! Many thanks Josh for walking us through this very interesting gold mine. A job well done! 👍 ✌
Greetings.
Thank you very much! It was a great tour with lots of info!
Wow Gold 😍😍! Great video... We now know why the Gold is so expensive.
Haha, I don't think I would make a very good miner after my results that day!
Going there today!
That's a pretty cool tour. We have mines around me but they're just coal mines.
Thanks! It was my first time doing something like this, so it was a neat experience!
Good video. I'm from London and visited the mines about 20 years ago. Great experience, watching this was like being there again. Still have my 3 crumbs of gold in the vile. 😂✌
Thanks! We'll all have to pool our mini bits of gold (I also have mine in the same vile) and melt them down to cash them in!
This is so cool would to go here thanks for sharing
It was a fun place to visit! I am interested in checking out other mines to see how different they would be compared to each other.
hmm i have not seen this one yet.nice information about the Gold mine..
Thanks! This was a really fun experience! I would go in a mine again for sure!
Nice content! Keep up the good work !
Thanks a lot! It was a lot of fun to go and do!
Interesting! I personally do not do mines or caves... I prefer just sky above my head, a few trees or a roof lol.
Haha yeah, this type of thing is not for everyone! I don't seem to mind it, so it was fun to explore.
Really interesting different from the old westerns when they would be by a river
Yeah that's right!
Great video. Love the mining history. Joined for more my friend.
Thanks so much! This was a very neat place to visit. I haven't been to many mines yet, but after this, I am wanting to see more! Thanks so much for following along!
Pretty interesting video! I wouldn't mind finding some gold these days :) Thanks for sharing!
Haha I know. I don't suspect with my skills that I'll take up gold mining anytime soon!
That's way cool!!! Great vid!
Thanks a lot! It was a fun trip! I would love to visit another mine sometime to see the differences!
Haha, well I do try and travel as much as possible! hi friend thanks for visiting us we have subscribed to you we are enjoying your channel xx
Thanks so much!
Wow! Incredible place!!!
It was a really cool place to visit! I would like to go visit other mines to see what the differences are!
I have subscribed to your amazing channel! 🎄💗😊 Thank you very much, dear friend!🎄🎄🎄😊😉💗🎄🎄🎄 Best regards from London! Happy Holidays! 💗
a really amazing tour, I have a touch of Claustrophobia so I would have done it but more enjoyed through your lens lol
Maybe it wouldn't have bothered you. I did find it spacious - it's as tall or big as any room, but I can see the mental side of being in a cave distort the actual size of where you would be at! It was a cool experience - first time in a mine like this. I would be interested in seeing others to compare!
That’s where I went today for a field trip
Quite an awesome place isn't it! It makes me want to go see some other mines in the future!
Sammeeeeee, i just went today
Oh myi went today
Great and interesting video!! Like your channel and subscribed!
Thank you so much! It was really neat exploring the mine!
Love the vids man!
Thank you so much!
That freaks me out.
how fascinating! great vid
Thanks so much!
I am on this, love this play list collection
Year, Georgia is a really great state! We loved this tour. Our guide was fantastic!
Great video
Thanks so much!
That was a pretty cool video! a 22' gold vein... that would have been amazing to see back in the day when they uncovered that. Thanks for sharing!
You got that right! They must have gotten a lot of gold from that!
"Crazy world, lot of smells." (Michael Gary Scott)
Ha! Very true. Micheal is full of "knowledge" lol. So is Dwight.
Very nice, great vlog. like#63
Thanks a lot! This was a really neat experience! I would love to check out some other mines and compare what they are like!
My grandfather was an engineer in a coal mine. Sounded like horrible times.
Yeah it wouldn't have been a great job by any stretch of the imitation. Being stuck underground all day in dangerous conditions with poor pay. No thanks.
That's a pretty cool keepsafe to go away with.
It was actually! It's small so it doesn't take up much room, but it's a neat reminder!
We're going here on our Middle School Field Trip.
You'll really enjoy it! It's a lot of fun and I enjoyed seeing how the old miners use to work.
Did you get the sample gems?
The only thing I ended up keeping was the gold you pan for. You get that "free" with your admission.
Awesome!!
It was pretty cool!
Oh wow, that is so cool! I wanna do this too!! :D
It was a lot of fun! Not something that you would be able to do just anywhere, so it was a neat experience when I was there!
Great channel liked and subbed
Thanks a lot! There is a mix of stuff there, so hopefully some (if not all) may appeal to you!
Haha, keep it up, maybe in 10-15 years you'll have enough for that new car =)
Ha! You got that right. I would have to get some bigger hauls then the 3 flecks I got to make any sort of headway!
Nice video, thanks for sharing 👍💐👍💐
I have subscribed to your amazing channel! 🎄💗😊 Thank you very much, dear friend! 👍💐👍 43
Thank you very much!
shouting out famliy...keep the videos coming #2likes from me
Thank you CJ!
Pretty cool video, If i ever visit northern Georgia ill make to to check out this spot with my family. Dropped you a Sub...
Thanks so much! It really is a neat area to visit. There isn't much else in this little town, but it was nice to break the camping up with visiting this mine! Great for all ages for sure!
That guy is using so many double entendres ! lol
Hello, Great video 💚💜💛 like from us)
Thank you very much!
very cool👍🏻great tour. liked and subscribed your channel. let be friend 😃
Thank you so much!
I can't imagine trying to make a living that way. Not exactly striking it rich, eh?
Not with the "skills" I've got, lol
