I have a new pair of these powered by MC255, pushing 250 watts. I will say that the Sonetto V paired with the powerful MC is the best I’ve heard- and I’ve been sneaking into audiophile stores since I was a child. Compared to similarly priced Focal, focal has much more low end. However, I have found the FOCALs to get muddled during complex passages. I do have a subwoofer which cures any problems you could encounter for lower end music/rock music.

I think that perhaps some of the songs from the Tingvall Trio would be among your show music selected with special musical tastes. It would be a pleasure to hear in the quality that you interpret for us. They would definitely provide a special music experience on these special music devices. Not only your videos but also the music you use testify to a very sophisticated musical taste. An experience every time you upload a new video.😁
Some of these "audiophiles" play stupid songs that don't have copyright issues, just to display their speakers or hifi setup. This may be why you see so many videos with the dumbest songs.
@@aggonzalez8096 It's not the case my friend, regular music doesn't always bring the best out of those mega expensive speakers. That is why obsessed people listen to this type of songs, recorded for the best audio experience.

Thanks for the demo. I have sonetto iii for a year. I use Musical Fidelity M3si amplifier with sonettos. (85W on 8 ohm). What do you think about my amplifier to drive these sonetto iii's well. Since i dont have any opportunity to test my sonetto's with another amplifier, i am not sure that i'm using the right ampl. or not. Should i change it? And what are my alternatives (Denon 2500NE, Yamaha as2000 etc.) ?
How do the Sonetto Vs compare to Olympica Nova II? Was told for the price Sonetto V are great but you notice the difference with the Novas, I have not heard them yet and afraid once I do there's no going down from there. Would be with a MA8900 amp. Bellissimi video grazie mille.
Nova's are definitely worth the upgrade if you can afford them, its just better in every way. I got to AB them the other day and after going back and forth between 2 songs it was very obvious the nova's were just superior.
@@MasterMark5 good feedback was able to also a/b test them and indeed the Nova IIs were better. I didn’t think they were double the cost better however, but smoother more detail and better base in a smaller cabinet with one less woofer. I have a smaller room so still considering the Nova IIs. Really enjoy Sonus Faber speakers.
@@MasterMark5 never heard the luminas a lot of people like them. As mentioned nova vs sonetto I didn’t find a night and day sonetto Vs sound great , novas of course better but weren’t double the cost better to my ears. They make great products.

Hi, i noticed that you have a Fynen F502 at the back of the room. I am having a Fyne F502SP and used to have a F502 too. I am planning to change to Sonetto V because i think the vocal and mid are not very clear but I love the heavy bass. The problem is i cannot find a shop that got F502 and Sonetto V for me to listen. Could you please let me know if the vocal mid of Sonetto V is more clear than F502?and bass is same or less than F502?thank you very much
I'm absolutely not trying to depreciate quality of this recording - I actually think that your videos are one of the best recorded on YT, but... This particular song demonstrates how limited it is in presenting actual in-room sound... On this recording main vocal is placed in the middle, when in reality it is coming from left and right speaker with some sort of time delay? echo? phase shift? I have no idea what technics have been used here but the voice is "waving" between Lt and Rt channel. It applies to pretty much every song from this album , except "Caught in a kiss".
I discover many new artists since I listen to Sound Sommeliers chain. The music, and the high end combinations. It's a real pleasure.
