Thank you!!!! I’m so pleased with it. I haven’t had short hair in so long, but now that I do, I wish I had done it sooner. If you decide to follow Brad’s tutorial, I would recommend doing more sections if your hair is thick. He mentions this, but I can definitely see how it would be helpful. Lucky for my husband, I barely have any hair. 😂

Team Rowe I know right! I believe almost a year now, Korea is his first deployment! And yes, I absolutely love it here, there are lots things to do for all ages.
Oh, wow! What a cool first assignment for him! David’s first assignment was California, so Korea is our second. 😊 We have visited Washington DC, but only for a day or two at a time. We mostly just did the tourist stuff.

I first saw you guys on the Korean TV show and fell in love with your family! You are so brave stepping out of your comfort zone, particularly at this challenging time! Dave did a great job! Btw Steph there is a perm in Korea that 'helps' with flat roots( I have the same problem), it's called 뿌리 펌, roots perm, and it might help! Not trying to say it in any mean way but I just got it myself recently and would love to share with you!

I’m watching 어서와 한국은 처음이지! I’m enjoying it!!
When I see these videos, I realize that I have it pretty good. I have been having my husband cut my hair for me since we first met. Our routine is that every other month I take a seat on the stool, he sets out a glass of wine for me, I get caped, my hair combed out, Center parted, sectioned just behind my ear on each side and he pins up my Thick, elbow length hair with hair clips. He blunt cut trims the bottom layer of my hair with his sharp hair shears, and then he lets my hair down in increments to trim each layer. He has me turn my head to the side so he can match the hair in the front with the back. He holds sections from each side of my head under my chin to ensure it is even. He cuts my hair dry so he can see and remove the split/damaged ends. He does the trimming in increments So that he is cutting a manageable amount of hair, as if he tries to cut through too much at once, the blades push the hair before they cut, leaving it uneven. I used to pay $55 for a haircut when my hair was collarbone length, now that it is past my elbows, they would be charging me more like $100. So I figure I am definitely saving several hundred dollars a year. He doesn’t put my hair in ponytails, use a razor, thinning shears or point cut my hair as that would cause split ends.
My best friend asked me years ago who did my hair as she needed a haircut and was not happy with the way the salon she had been going to cut her hair and she liked how mine looked. When I told her that my guy cuts my hair, she wanted to come watch him do it. I told my guy and he was fine with it and asked if I wanted him to cut her hair for her. I said yes, if she asked. Well she came by, watched him intently as he cut my hair, complimented his work, then as he was taking the cape off of me, she said, “I’m next!”. He said you are indeed and she took a seat. She wanted about an inch and a half off her mid back length hair, so he caped her, did the full routine on her hair. When he finished, she went to the bathroom to check the results and I got her a hand mirror to check the back. She was pleased and asked if she could book her next appointment. So she gets her hair cut by my guy regularly and does not miss the salon. From what I have seen with the home DIY haircuts is that the women are faring much better having their guy cut their hair than the guys getting haircuts from their lady. My husband gives my two teen boys their haircuts every three weeks and he said that while it takes him less time to cut their hair, the shorter hair is more difficult than cutting long hair. A lot of women that have been getting good results have found that they don’t have to worry about going back to the salon, they can save a lot of money by just having their guy cut their hair for them. I do suggest that you invest in a decent cape and hair clips. And of course welcome to the club of women who have their guy cut their hair for them.

I don’t know what you were talking about when you said “That’s why I never wear my hair straight.” Your hair looks just as good straight as it does curled. You shouldn’t be so critical of yourself. As yes, your haircut does look great.
