At first I wondered why Sieg would have Kiyohime of all people help him but then I remembered that Kiyohime can transform into a dragon and Sieg can turn into one as well so they must've became friends. That and Kiyohime can sneak into our room very easily... Damn, I'm starting to feel sorry for Sieg. He literally stays in spirit form when all the other servants walk around in their physical form because he doesn't want to waste Chaldea's resources on him. It gets to the point where Fran and Mordred (of all people) check up on him because they're worried.

Sieg is simply so honest and sincere that Kiyohime thought to help him out. And since Kiyohime sees Astolfo as a rival (judging by Astolfo's return gift scene) Sieg being around to keep him company and thus out of her way makes Sieg a valuable asset to Kiyohime.

Excuse my language, but a lot of his moments were incredibly bland especially if you came from Zero or Stay night. It’s like taking a bite out of a delicious Margherita pizza filled with tons of delicious sauces and spices and then being given a cardboard pizza you’d find at chuck e cheese.
