During that weird transitory phase where Cartoon Network was finally a thing, so TBS didn't need to air kids shows anymore but it wasn't quite ready to let them go. The Cartoon Network DNA is very strong in this.
To be fair their "network shift" haven't quite kicked in yet, as TBS aired primarily aired syndicated programming alongside material from the Turner library.
