Very interesting. Must be one of Portland's nicest neighborhoods. I lived in the Portland area for 25 years and never heard anything about that bridge.

I drove across that bridge a lot when I lived in Portland in the 1990s. I used it as a shortcut between the Southwest Hills and Northwest via the edge of Goose Hollow. My then boss lived in the SW Hills up towards Council Crest. It's a pretty dramatic bridge. Those signs offering help for people were up even then. Goose Hollow is a really nice neighborhood - a mix of large older homes and semi-expensive condos. It's a great location with downtown to the east, Northwest/Alphabet District to the north, Washington Park to the west and the SW Hills to the south.

Oh wow that's really cool that you lived there back in the day. Yes it looked like a pretty nice area! The homes were beautiful but yeah the bridge has a sad story to it. Thank you so much for watching Michael! Always appreciate you tuning in!

I used to live near there, actually right at the top of the public stairs you climbed. That area is spooky at night, and such a terrible history. The fencing ruined one beautiful bridge and view, it’s a shame.

Oh wow that's interesting! I could see why it could be spooky and night. Yeah the fence makes it hard to see the amazing view of the city but I understand why they did it. Thank you so much for watching! I appreciate you!
