I really enjoy Hector's videos too. I lived in Portland in the 1990s and would love to retire there. I agree, the Alphabet District is fantastic. I'd love to live there or the Pearl District or the Arts District down by the SW Park Blocks. This time of year in Portland is fantastic with the cool, rainy weather and the changing of the fall foliage.

@@jzilla2413 Yeah the rent goes up yearly for me out pacing wages. It's now cheaper to live in PDX, LBC or Sacramento. You're lucky your moving there soon. I still have a few years to work on this financially. Going to be a little scary flying up there to get an apt all by myself. I don't know anyone there.

It really depends where you move to in Oregon but yes it’s getting a little expensive here in our area which is the Hillsboro, Oregon area and Portland, Oregon area. Thanks so much for watching!

Mmm if we had the money for it, maybe simply because that’s were I grew up and all my family is down there but it’s too dang expensive down there, although it’s getting expensive up here as well. I grew up in Southern California (Redondo Beach area) so I miss all the beaches, entertainment, and sunshine! lol but Oregon is beautiful with lots of nature but rains a lot. But we will most likely stick around in Oregon for the foreseeable future!

That’s crazy to think Bethany was once just rural farms! I wish there was footage of it back then. Maybe there is. Gonna do research. But yes maybe 30 years from now it will be completely different but will have this video to look at how it was. Thanks a lot for watching!
