Horrible ending. It didn’t even make any logical sense. Why didn’t they just take the 500m for the 3% of the ranch they were offered? That along with keeping the house, graveyard and land surrounding the house…while selling off the rest of the 600k plus acres to the reserve. Win win for everyone. Jamie was right all along
@@andrewjuriansz2056 Actually I don't think those are his horses, but show horses. Only in Texas would you just keep going around in circles in a barn it seems.
This Was Not The First Time That A Mini Series Like "Yellowstone" Had A Horrible Ending That Didn't Add Up At All Because It Turns Out The Other Mini Series That So Called "Son Of Anarchy" Had A Similar Tragic Ending Too.
I know I’m in the minority on this matter but I feel sorry for Jamie. I know I’m supposed to hate him as much as Beth but I don’t. Sheridan succeeded in making him complex as possible so he’s not a cartoon villain but he simultaneously failed to make me hate him. He wasn’t evil like Ramsey Bolton, Arthur Mitchell, Joffrey Baratheon, or Angelus. He was an abused kid who was made into the thing they hated and punished him for it. Having ambition and doing what you want doesn’t warrant capital punishment. John said he raised him with love and respect which was complete bullshit. He raised all his kids with fear, intimidation, and punishment. He was a horrible father. Kick a dog long enough and soon it’ll turn on you. Beth and John repeatedly abusing Jamie got old real quick. Her and Jamie have had the same argument every single season and never changed. Like some Game of Thrones characters at the end, Jamie got more cowardly and stupid to the point where suspension of disbelief got thrown out the window. I half expected him to record a last testimony exposing their secrets as a final 🖕🏼to this family but it never happened.
John was a psychopath, and he used everyone around him. They were all the worst versions of themselves when he ran things, and Kayce could see it, but couldn’t stay away. I too feel Jamie’s character was tragic. He was what John made him. No different than the rest. Murderers lost in John’s ego and greed.
Dah follow the storyline. Promises to the Dutton family was very important and promises were kept, period. Ended just as I hoped. And I’ve watched every episode…..
Imagine being the AG of Montana and not having security cameras outside your home. And none inside either. Oh and neither did Montana put security cameras in the Governor's home either. No security for the Duttons' it seems.
@@rogue3961common sense Montana AG would have a personal security detail after Jaime's gf was executed on his street by a kill team..a surveillance system installed in his home with law enforcement patrols in Jamie's neighborhood...btw it doesn't recognize his sister's Bentley out front when it comes home & is ambushed 🤔.. this series/season finale was very subpar
I did not see it. Beth continued to blame Jamie for something that she was part of. Yes he was wrong, but so was she. Jamie helped quit a few of them out of trouble, yet was still hated so. I felt sorry for him - he just wanted to be accepted, yet was bullied esp by Beth. The only one that was decent to him was Kacey. Without John Dutton, I could care less to watch the show. I liked John's character as well as Carter and Teeter.
Sheridan is paid for show development… not show continuation or endings. That was certainly true for Yellowstone. What a horrible 5th season, and a shitty ending. Ruined one of the best shows on tv just so he could start another show at his new ranch in texas (6666). Greed and ego eventually gets us all.
😭 Yeah I did try not to focus on the negative things because it was the end of a show that I enjoyed overall, but I do agree this was not a good ending, especially regarding John and Jamie :/

thats because Taylor should stick to horse riding which hes good at and not make TV shows

Or give the 1.1m to Beth to flip on investments for a 1000x profit when she numbers those numbers like a number, Kayce just bankrupted his family

I think the promise had to be fulfiled somehow. The land had to go back to the natives because of 1883
I loved the ending. Jamie deserved what he got. And was glad Yellowstone went back to the Indians. It was perfect.

I feel sorry for Jamie too you're not alone 😭
Sheldon should never been on the show especially after what he did to Kevin to get him off the show he ruined the ending for me 😢
I think he did it to piss Kevin off 😭

I wish they would adopt Carder. He wants to be Beth's son
Dude Beth amd rip are killers😂😂 like come on
I think that could be one of the storylines in the upcoming Beth & Rip spinoff
The brutality of the killing of Jamie was awful. Reminded me of how Tara was killed in Sons of Anarchy.
I'm shocked about how Jamie would almost kill Beth if Rip didn't show up...That was such a stupid plan...
I have to say this,it was printed by season finale but I think it was said that's it.
Yeah. But it looks like the new spinoff show with Beth & Rip will have Yellowstone in its title, so it's going to be like Season 6 in a way
I wish rmtgat Kevin and Sheridan could get along better it's sad. They will get their revenge
I wish too 😭
Milk in refrigerator indicated Jamie had ulcers.....
Milk looked curdled when he poured it on his face.

Jamie deserved it!

I liked Jamie as well. He did not deserve this treatment to be honest 😭

Hell yes he should to dead by Beth
😭
So Depressing. Beth killing Jamie was all too predictable. Beth has become so annoying.
She seems to be invincible
