wow, i love the last part of the story, handling of cancer patients and how to comfort the relatives when they are loosing a loved one. great lesson. wishing your hubby quick recovery
I love perfumes and earrings too Christabel! And i love to Zumba and travel i couldn’t help but Notice your beautiful earrings and subtle make up. When I look at Christabel I see a woman with whom I share a a lot in common. I know your husband is undergoing palliative care but my prayer is the one day he will regain his ability of consciousness and he would just have to Identify you by the scent of your perfume but he will open his eyes and remember that you’re his wife and even gain his mobility and the ability to be independent. That is my greatest prayer for you.
Oooh a gal toto thank you for your kind words!!! However he is not a palliative patient and he communicates with his eyes, as well, knows my perfume. I receive your best wishes and one day it will happen. Thank you.
May the healing hand of the Lord be upon Joseph, Christabel you are a superstrong woman. I am encouraged by your story, be blessed together with your boys.
Chris you are one of a kind strong positive iron lady!! I love how you are positively doing this, you are amazing mama!! So passionate about your husband & boys. I admire you!!
All I pray for is a miracle for Joseph, may God heal him. You are a strong lady. May God give you all you need to look after those boys. All the best mum.

A very moving story. Good interviewer and a strong social network you have. Lady you are calm and inspiring. May God help you and Joseph to pull through.
For a bit of encouragement, I have taken care of people in your husband condition. and some have them get half way better, walk able to speak not as good as before, but it can happen for you just keep praying.
This is a story of resilience and triumph in the midst of a difficult situation. positive vibes. I wish you more strength and more power for yourself, Joseph and the kids.. Please recommend a good perfume. 🤗🤗🤗
Christabel and Joseph welcomed us young Kenyans in Dundee to their home with Kenyan meals, music and dance. Moments that we cherish to this day. I love you both ❤️
There is a pastor who has the gift of healing in Kenya his church is in Mombasa, his name is ev Ezekiel and the church name is new life church why don't you visit his church or listen to his teachings in RUclips I believe with God nothing is impossible all we need is faith
The God who has kept him till now has a reason, have faith in him, he will come down at his appointed time. I speak healing upon his life in Jesus name, our lord is a God of impossibilities I believe Mr Joseph will leave to testify his goodness Am sure you will come back with a testimony, hugs mum.
You are right, however when a person ability to breath independently is altered due poor functionality of the trachea ( weak cartillages). A tracheostomy is introduced to enable the person to breath freely, use it for nebulizers too and for the suctioning of the mucus to prevent any chest infections. Tracheostomy care is very critical
Thats true and while our loved one is approaching their end of life, it affects us more mentally and even worse financially. Palliative care is not postponing the inevitable, however, preparing the patient and the family to adjust for their loved one dignified end of life transition.
Awareness really needed...don't refer to cancer patients "they know they are dying" it's very very insensitive from your part.imagine If I was a cancer patient n watched you say this, kindly use a better statement next time..mind your viewers
Providing person centred care to your patient is paramount. As well, identifying the patient as an individual other than their illness should be encouraged (Not a cancer patient but by preferred names). Supporting them, during their palliative phase is significant (with even counselling) and when transitioning to end of life phase, a dignified death MUST be provided.
Prayers your way and the entire family🙏However, I really, reallyyy wanted to know wat happened to the person that knocked down your hubby? Was it a hit & run? Did you at some point involve the law?? Lots of love and prayers from Uganda Kampala.
Hi Vanessa, I forgave the person who knocked my husband down. I will never know what he/she was thinking or going through, as well I don't know how he/she is feeling at the moment (might be having a rough time as well) I allowed my heart to love and block any rage. This enabled be to give the law chance to take its course. I'm sorry I can't disclose anything sensitive here. But wherever the person is, I hope the person is ok because he/she managed to call for an ambulance after hitting Joseph. I hold no grudge against the person
Actually my dear depending on the nativity of where you come from in this world, wear, spray and apply are commonly used. Apply is more appropriate in this context of which the concept is to "put on". However, since perfume engulfs you, and its applied on your wrist or where you prefer on your self, so to some people its worn. The use of language is still debatable. Either word that suits you please use it. Lets vote tomorrow
