Big thanks to MetalWorks for giving everyone a behind-the-scenes look at Art Morrison Enterprises! Your guys' attention to detail is unmatched, and it's always a pleasure having you in our shop. With our exciting leap into the 4x4 market coming up, we'd love to roll out the red carpet for another tour...just say the word!
I knew Art back in the early 80's when he had a small shop near mine on 54th near the Poodle Dog Restaurant. I remember going in one day to have him make something for me and he was all excited because he had just gotten an air nibbler for cutting sheet metal- he's come a long way since those days.
What a cool story! It's amazing to see how far things have come since those early days. I can almost bet we still have that air nibbler lying around in the shop somewhere. Thanks for sharing your memory with us!
What I find amazing is that there are enough people building cars every year to keep such a business alive for all these years and that they manage to do all this RnD and investments and still manage to make a living for themselves and employees.
Chip's driven a few rides with an AME frame underneath 'em, always great to have legends on your side! We're glad you enjoyed the tour and got a glimpse into our process.
This was a good tour of your facility, you guys build some of the best, all skilled crew ,the name speaks for itself, thanks for taking us along on the building process.
Loved this video ! The dedication to quality , the repeatable precision is off the scale ! I have done business with these folks and they are the real deal !
We don't have a full documentary yet, but it's absolutely a great idea. We are just getting our RUclips channel off the ground, but we've got to compete with all these awesome videos MetalWorks keeps putting out! We'd love to get Art on camera and talk with him about the early days-I think a lot of people would really enjoy that. Stay tuned, and we’ll see what we can make happen!
its kinda crazy how big this industry is, 2 or 3 a days is around 600 $10/20k chassis's going out to custom projects a year. Any they arnt to only company doing this. Thats a lot of people dropping $50k in an old truck.
I envy American custom culture and cool customs!! There are many car models that deserve custom, and There are many original custom cars such as street rods. Japan is full of childish cars and customs.

It's amazing, isn't it? The passion and dedication of car builders keep the industry thriving, and we're honored to be part of it.
I always here chip Foose saying great things about these chaises. An now to see the place that makes them is just intriguing 🤔 ❤

The classic car industry is booming! It's amazing to see so many people investing in bringing these beautiful vehicles back to life.
Could you please help train me!?
I’m surprised they don’t coat any of their products with some kind of corrosion protection
78 chevy elcomino. G body
Why does the one that's coming to you, look like it's rusty?
I will be glad to take one of those off your hands for a 56 Belair you know since you don’t need all those 😂😂😂😂
putting a holes in frame for the pipes is not a good idea it causes a weak point on the frame I think you need to crash test your frame

We love hearing that! American custom culture is all about creativity and craftsmanship, and seeing it appreciated worldwide is wonderful.
