Great video! This is one of my favorite trails. I visited a couple of years ago during August and the trail had just opened after being closed for a few weeks for nesting falcons.
So much beauty in that park! I held my breath for you guys during a few of those obstacles. I hope to be able to make some cool videos like yours there someday. Definitely subscribing!!
A gorgeous place! To me that is just as scary (but not scary for as long) as Zion. Not a lot of room for error, and once you are high up enough the only difference is how long you fall before the big splat.
Excellent video! I climbed it today and it was outstanding. By far the best small mountain I did. Only trail that was comparable I have done was Huntington Ravine on Mount Washington. Any advice for the best way up Cadillac with my 6 year old daughter? I left her home for Precipice but some loves climbing small mountains.
I have to look up Huntington ravine now! I actually didn’t get to go up Cadillac due to our schedule last time. I’ll be in Acadia again in just a few weeks and I’m hoping to get up there this time, the rain kinda killed it for us. But I did hear the north ridge trail is the best for kids!
@@MikeGetsLost thanks! Huntington Ravine has a big head wall and you have to use handholds in places and you are exposed probably almost as much as the entire elevation change on Precipice. There are some good videos on here about it. Precipice took about an hour and a half and Huntington Ravine was more like 4.5 hours (quick pace on both but jogged a few parts on Huntington). I went up and down Precipice but on Mt Washington came down a different trail. Tuckerman to Lions Head. It is hard to get good weather in Washington but we lucked out 3 years ago and had a sunny day! Bring gloves, a beanie hat, a wind breaker, maybe a sweatshirt, a trail map, and it would be a great idea to really be prepared as the weather is notorious for turning quickly above the tree line and it is usually really windy up there! Hypothermia can happen even in the summer. I hope you are able to check it out…. It will not disappoint! I would plan on a solid 6 hours unless you blow up and down it. I think the trail books say 7 or 8 hours. My legs were tired! My dad and I camped at Dolly Copp www.alltrails.com/trail/us/new-hampshire/mount-washington-via-huntington-ravine-and-lion-head-trail
Hello folks I have seen all your hiking videos and I have some places you'll might be interested to travel to - Saltonstall Ridge and Saltonstall Lake of Branford Ct, Beacon Hill Perserve of Branford Ct, Peter Rock in North Haven Ct, Cathole Mountain in Meriden Ct, Mount Sanford in Bethany Ct and Breakneck Ridge Hudson River Philipstown / Fishkill, New York. Thank You !
I actually grew up in the area, my family owned a toy store in north Branford, so I’m pretty familiar with all those trails. I’ll be sure to film at least some of them this summer!

Other than avoiding crowds that’s one of the main reasons we waited until mid October to go.
Acadia National Park looks very cool. I'm hoping to get up there to Main and check it out myself. Thanks for sharing your challenging hike 🙂
It was such an awesome park. Stay tuned next Saturday for the even bigger hike we took only two hours after this
@@MikeGetsLost Cool, looking forward. 👍

Thanks for the sub! Whacking my knee and almost passing out on a ladder 800 feet up was definitely worthy of holding your breath 😅
@@MikeGetsLost Hey, you made it though! I showed my wife some of the obstacles in your video and she said NO THANKS 😂
I tried to convince several of my students from the gym to go with us and they were all too scared 😂

I can’t wait for the day I get to hike through Zion!!

It was so fun! Maybe not the part where I hit my knee while climb the ladder and felt like passing out though 💀
