@@rokukou I don’t think this an easier way to explain what I wrote. Well, that kinda depends on the species. Everybody talks about how aggressive Great White Sharks can be, but Lemon Sharks, Bull Sharks, and _especially_ Mako Sharks are known for being both aggressive _and_ unpredictable. They're nowhere near as relentless as they're typically depicted, but they're still something you shouldn't fuck around with.
@@SoySaucey1 I disagree. It can be extremely difficult, and I didn't find it very fun. You have to constantly repair your base, even more so the first game, and it just becomes a chore having to constantly chop down more trees to get wood and repair the walls. It gets tedious. The caves are a huge letdown too, so many of them are tiny and have useless loot that's not at all worth the massive amount of enemies that spawn in there.

If these unfortunate individuals turned into mutated abominations by an alien civilization, especially their creations like The Cube, then something in my mind tells me that these monsters are inspired by All Tomorrows.
IMHO Endnight did an awesome job creating so many different enemies with different, unique behaviours, techniques and intelligence. One weak point I guess they all have in common... they are ... no I won't spoil. Find out yourself in this breathtaking game. :)
Thank you SO MUCH for the spoiler warning about the story bosses. Just started playing and we came almost all the mutants and canibals except for two of the end story ones.
3:38 Broh💀I believe that some types of cannibals suffered mutations due to the cube under the island, some literally suffered physical mutations, like the brutes, having height far above normal and great strength, in addition to some having deformed faces, I also think that titans are also beings abnormals, perhaps also because of the cube, you can discover this by wearing the red mask found during the game and realizing that when wearing it you are worshiped by normal natives but not by titans or brutes, but it's all just a theory (:
I just realized that out of all the RUclipsrs i have watched play this, I have at least seen the ending once and I haven’t seen all the bigger mutants, only the sling one, the twin one, the one with the fingers for a mouth, and maybe a few others? But yeah, not a lot.
I love the creative body horror, too often enemies like this are just somewhat distorted though still close to humans but this game has a lot of really fun and interesting monsters.
Also, with the burning cannibals, if you charge them when you see them lighting themselves on fire it gives you a huge window for some free hits while they do. especially with the katana since it can take them down in 2 or 3 hits.
I wonder if more of the creepy mutants will get the stronger "blue" variations like the Puffys or the Armsys and Virginias from the first game. A Blue Holey or Worm would be terrifying to run into. I also wonder if they will bring back Cowmen or the crazy giant sausage Worm from the first game.
If you wanna speed run this game, I’d definitely recommend getting the katana first. Use the modern axe to chop trees to build up strength. By the time your strength is lvl 15-20 you’ll melt through even the demons with the katana (especially upgraded).
I am a bit sad you cannot actually have positive, or at least neutral relations with some tribes. Since- you know, you can help out one tribe indirectly by killing a rival tribe. At some point, they'd probably realise that the stranger is not an enemy, but a force that can be worked with, at least for the time being. Also it's rather impressive how detailed their behavior is
Wait, the demons get scared and die to showing a cross, like, they're really demons or did i just got trolled. Man, where did i lost The Forest storyline
That Brute was probably just wearing someone else's face because even in the first Forest game intimidation was a running theme with the tribals. Someone taking a hit that disfigures his face so much probably wouldn't survive it and Frankenstein monsters could be probably ruled out as well since there doesn't seem to be any beside the ones turned into such by mutations. But that's defo not his real face anyway-you can see the etching of the skin at the sides, the warpaint is also coming down in the snow in an odd pattern. (which is an oversight from the devs, some say skeleton physics are also not up to date to present game standards-but that's not what this game excels at anyway, the first one became a hit when it was still a bugged mess so i guess they were like whatever) Funny they made the sharks aggressive but the orcas peaceful, you could expect with a bigger likelyhood to be attacked by an orca than by a shark that's not hungry to the point of dying or so i've heard.
First time I played with a friend, we were putting up a defensive wall when a titan came running up and was trying to take the wall down. First thing out of my mouth was 'Does this thing think it's the f***ing Armored Titan????' Only to later learn its type is called 'Titan'. I tend to forget words when I'm trying to talk, so our codename for this specific type is 'Reiner'.
