Yes, i remember that time my, then husband, Bryon Steinwand needed an emergency appendectomy… it WAS urgent &life threatening. The Cannon Base medical doctor & staff wouldn’t attend to him until i got really REALLY angry and demanded that they help him.

They were ‘purposefully’ incompetent. My Base Commander at Lowry Air Force base, where i was in technical training school to be an avionics technician on the F-111, told that i shouldn’t go home at Christmas time & marry Bryon. i asked him if he could actually ‘stop me’ and he said no… i said thank you & ended the conversation as quickly as possible. Then… i followed thru & was glad i did. There was a pesky little soldering instructor that followed we with ‘innuendo’ followed up with ‘assertive actions’ in hopes for a rendezvous of sexual nature. i put him in his place. This was prior to my Christmas Time trip home.
