That's what makes this community so great! Everyone has their own taste and builds in mind but me personally, 12v swap the world 😂 I'm partnered with TheAdrenalineDealer and 8lugs No Plugs and we'd love to share some clips of yours across our platforms with credit to you!
I have a 89 w350 drw 01 2500 with huge injectors and huge compounds trans ect and a stock 08 3500 drw on 22s 33 tires very mild tune down low only no timing or fuel up top. I love my vp44 truck Tom's of power but it's a nail bitter to drive , my 08 Laramie is beautiful. The exhaust brake is nice. No dpf. The 68rfe is a turd. The 6.7 is the way to go. You can tell a huge difference I think.
On my way back to Phx from SLC and currently in St. G. Damn you boys really have everyone turned on to these 2nd gen’s 😂😂 enough I had to pull up your channel just to leave this…while in my LML
500 was fun for about a week. Once you bite the transmission bullet and build that bad boy, sky is the limit. Def 3rd gen is the way to go for a fun street truck. 12v are cool, but good luck finding one that has a floor left or isn't 30k. Duramax will always wonder when the crank is going to break. Ford.... well it's a Ford.
I want to put a 467 on my 4th gen so bad but I still need to tow. Is the 467 laggy or do I need to do an s300sxe? I’ve already got a dual disc clutch so I’m not worried about the trans.
Man, can you guys help me out? 95 12 valve you have to push the skinny peddle to het her to start. Runs decent otherwise. Note basically bone stock flatbed 2wd 5spd
i keep hearing that you need rods past "x" amount of power but theres no consistency company to company or tuner to tuner on when you need rods. what are the odds we can get will and myer to do a destructive test video (or series) to show when a guy would need rods if he followed kinda the most average build path? im about to 2g swap my truck with a big single because i keep hearing that even on stock fuel a baby add-a-turbo setup will kick every rod from the block
The Junker Drag Truck, Will's old 95' 12v has stock rods with just rod bolt upgrade and so far, it's been solid to 985 HP with a 62/480 compound turbo setup.
Duramax been common rail the whole time, 500hp with nothing but some efilive. Trans will live at that level. As for the rest of the video, well done. 😂
What do you think?
Did Tim talk about a certain 5xx hp 7.3 zf6? 😂
I did hear 650 is the new 500
Great video guys, enjoyed all the different opinions with a little humor thrown in as well. Keep up all the good work, hands down best channel on YT.
Wills first gen recipe seems pretty close and I like his antique theme of running dual ve pumps. I have threatened that one before.😊
500hp Cummins in a Ford is a bunch of fun.
I appreciate that yall have your own opinions and disagree; not company line every time.

Sure! Thank you!
@@pddofficial Hell yeah, thanks!
Shorten a 2g and 5spd swap it, then give it 600+ hp! Super fun!

There was some strong feelings from the guys on the dmax platform! I may have to get one to start playing with. That would drive them crazy!
@@pddofficial 😂 Hey look at Josh, driving a L5p🤷♂️
The answer is always Cummins swap
Now, go wash your mouth with soap, and think about what you said.
Totally!
Best Nerdymax answer.... Sell It!

Put a cummins in it. That is all that is needed. Its like a commercial 2jz that destroys inferior transmissions.
Awesome Video!!!! Love it and very relatable. Definitely put a 480 on everything! #cummins Keep it up!!!!!!
Dang it I was suppose to be in the video to

I think will was talking about my grandpa truck
Still talking about 2nd gens…lol. 😂

All the hate on a duramax is wild
Ah no hate, it's just a joke around the shop because we don't know much about them (yet) 👀

@@pddofficial those the earlier forged rods? or powdered metal?
Redacted 😄
