To note: Machine Gods Effigy will not copy simulacrum synthesizer. However, it can clone cards on the battlefield like terror of the peaks or other constructs
Can it enter as a copy of Hulking Metamorph while the Metamorph is a copy of Simulacrum Synthesizer because the Metamorph stays a creature? Great deck idea by the way!
@@xMareZx Yes it can copy any creature on the battlefield like Hulking Metamorph. (Which is in the decklist.) For some reason I associated MGE as a way to copy artifacts because itself is one.
My iron man deck is just stacked with artifacts that counter any specific deck meta. It has Immortal Sun in the deck to counter super friends, grafdiggers cage to counter recursion, null rod to counter other artifact decks along with lattice for a hard lock on mana, etc
All I'll say is this. Am i a fan of scalping? No. Do i understand it? Yes. You tell me. If you knew you could spend $50 and flip it for 10x that much...would u do it? Yeah. I blame the manufacturing model. Not the people. If they ensured everyone that wanted one could get one did then we wouldnt have a problem.
Not the first list I've seen with Hexplate Wallbreaker. Is it really that good? If you tutor it out, it's not giving any benefit because you've already declared attacks. And if you play it normally you're paying 9 mana to cast and equip it. Seems like you would be much better off with something that gives Iron Man vigilance and then a creature like Bloodthirster.
(I found an infinite combo with Simulacrum. Use Exoteric Duplicator and Krark Clan Ironworks. You sacrifice a CMC 3 artifact for 2 mana, you gain 2 mana use that 2 mana for the exoteric duplicator, it triggers the Simulacrum. End result is infinite construct tokens. Then you can sacrifice some of your constructs to gain infinite mana
I love this idea for iron man - best video ive seen. Im recently new back into magic - do you think using iron man and simulacrum synthesizer would count as a casual deck? I won a game with a thassas oracle three card combo recently and the table didnt seem too pleased.
People just dont like the concept of thassas oracle cause of the whole "i win the game." The simulacrum synthesizer is totally fair, in my opinion, because the constructs you make dont have trample. I would say it falls in line to be more casual using that card specifically
Brooooo. I love this idea. I always liked playing Urza just for making the constructs but always felt bad since he was so bonkers. This might be how we do that.
I pulled a Simulacrum Synthesizer and built it into a Saheeli, The Sun's Brilliance with a similar idea with terror of the Peaks. I'm tempted to throw iron man into her deck, but I've been on a izzet Artifact theme kick lately. I may just build iron man as well
Mostlikely going to proxy the cards because I know I can't get them tomorrow. Its frustrating because I want to get them, but I will literally be clocking in when the secret lair comes out.
Yeah, but limit was 5 each. So that meant you can get 5 nonfoil bundles/5 foil bundles and 5 foil/nonfoil of each lair individually. So pretty much you could order up to 60 with all of that

could just swap it out for sculpting steel

Academy manufactor and urza, lord high artificer will also love this deck!
I would agree! Both great picks!
I've been obsessed with making Arena Decks with 'Terror of the Peaks'. Now that I have Iron man I guess I'll have to grab it for real.

You're making token copies at the beginning of your next endstep. So it wont be infinite, but i like the idea!
@@PubStompMTG Oh shit didn't notice that part. Woops
Love, love, love this list
Thanks!!!

@PubStompMTG That makes sense and thanks for the reply!
Brooooo. I love this idea. I always liked playing Urza just for making the constructs but always felt bad since he was so bonkers. This might be how we do that.
Honestly, it was an idea I've been trying to figure out since simulacrum synthesizer was made! Glad I can make the deck now!
And your right, Urza is a menace with constructs lol

Saheeli was another option i was thinking about for this strategy! Great commander!
Wolverine next please! Im going to try to get that lair if it doesn't sell out😅
Wolverine is very fun. Definitely will plan to do it

Yeah i can understand that
Putting him in my lara croft deck
That is a pretty decent commander!
Didn’t I read somewhere that the limit was 5?

@ nice loophole
It’s a great deck, but iron man is just boring. It’ll always be the same
disgusting scalpers.... I would certainly never do such a thing.
Yeah im not a fan of it
Just buy them from the scalpers and say you never got them lol stick it to those losers
@Mr93curt there's a little thing called tracking.
@@SpitefulAZ it’ll work trust me lol
@Mr93curt you trolling
