      In the beginning u said the formula was 20% avocado oil. Then later u said olive oil. One of them was an accident. Which oil did u mean? Avocado or olive?

    some of Carrier Oils that high in natural Ceramides & also light; Jojoba Oil (96%), Safflower Oil (78%), Grapeseeds Oil (73%) & Sunflower Seeds Oil (68%). got others too but some a bit low in %, some might clog the pores & some maybe not suit own skins.

Should I be doing anything to the oil, should we be going through a scientific company or something to combine these ingredients

    I added, IPM into my body butter recipe and it was a complete game changer like this ingredient that you introduced me to transformed the feel of my body butter on the skin. This velvety luxurious texture that I would've never had unless I added this ingredient that you told us about. Do you get the same experience when you add that into the body oil? I'm not into the all natural product, so I'm not afraid to add in a couple chemicals. 😅😅

    • @bettergrowth_
      @bettergrowth_  7 месяцев назад +1

      Right!! I absolutely love it!! It definitely works the same in body oil. Making it more light weight and not much of an oily feel! Let me know what you think when you try.

      @@bettergrowth_ Seriously such a little gem!! Another quick question! I have my formula down that I am in love with but now I'm working on fragrance profile. I watched all your videos and ordered a TON from bramble berry. My plan is to mix fragrance oils together to get a scent with more depth, interesting ect. Just better than adding straight Strawberry Pound Cake. Going to base it with oat milk and honey add in some others and make a whole new scent. Keeping it all 5% of my formula of course. Now my question for you is is there a way for me to test fragrance scents and how they smell together WITHOUT making a batch of body butter? I know the test sizes would only be 2 oz or so but to have to go through ALL that (and clean up) Just to test the fragrance when I already KNOW I love the formula Im wondering if there's an easier way to test fragrance oils without adding it to body butter. Maybe just adding it to a cup of water with the correct percentages? I also want to say Ive seen someone put the individual frangrace oils on individual qtips and let it sit in a bag together then let it sit and see how it smells. Any advice or ideas on how to test how the fragrance is going to smell without making MORE body butter I aint selling would be appreciated!

      I'm not aware of a website. Your best bet is to watch a few formulation videos and learn more about the ingredients. That way you can have a better understanding of the process. For now test with formulas and tweak them to your liking.

    What are your thoughts on refined hemp oil? Would this be a good option?

    • @bettergrowth_
      @bettergrowth_  Год назад +2

      Hemp oil is a good option. It is a pretty thick oil so I would use it at a low percentage. Between 5 -10. However, It won't be ultra-lightweight because of how thick hemp oil is.

    • @bettergrowth_
      @bettergrowth_  11 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, the percentage is factored in. You need to know how much of the ingredient you're using based on cost-effectiveness.
