Forza horizon 2 on xbox 360 was developed by sumo digital..... They used forza horizon 1 engine since they didnt had time because they were developing little big planet at the same time.... Forza horizon 2 on xbox 360 runs at 720p.... It also barely has foliage , insanely small number of trees , it misses many areas (like docks , big mansion) , it has many glitches and it doesnt have the same amount of cars and dlcs since they didn't want to support a xbox 360 version.... Game is not bad because of console limitations... Its bad because they didn't had time and didnt put any effort into making it.....
First they map got way bigger than FH1 so it had more rendering, then grass and stuff NEEDED to be lower quality because the shatter with 1GB ram having to Render big map with reflections and stuff is going it crazy..
@@hereitsnick2069 fh 1 map is still huge in comparison with 2 but there is no off roading soo 2 just adds more roads nothing else.... Xbox 360 has 512mb of ram to be exact.... Still they could've done much better but they were lazy and didn't had time to put into making this game... It doesnt even need to render shit because there us barely trees on the map .... They could've atleast add more grass or atleast some bushes.... It wasnt the Hardware limitations since they used the same fucking engine from the first game ... They were basically makin a horizon 1.5....Compare this to rise of the tomb raide , gta 5
@@akiplay312 Don't forget test drive unlimited 2 had a way bigger map than fh2(even on the Xbox one) and was very dense with grass, shrubs, trees and buildings, and most places were explorable, all on the xb360
@@forrandomsites3336 yea ik Hawaii map was like 1600km2 and ibiza 1200km2?? Thats still insane number compared to forza horizon 2's 40ish km2...... Also i was astonished when i first saw tdu 2 on my x360. Like the amount of trees , huge map , dynamic weather with storms and many other things on a 512mb ram console. It was pretty mindblowing to see how scalable the game was.

E me diverti muito, muito mesmo.
Sou tão fã que comprei primeiro no Xbox One e depois no 360. Efetivamente são 2 jogos diferentes, contudo tem a mesma vibe, são mt divertidos. Se quiser acompanhar o DLC de Velozes e Furiosos desse jogo no 360, tem no meu canal.
A versão de Xbox 360 é boa. Porém o FH2 ficou com o brilho e a calibração de cores errada, além dele não rodar seus jogos mais pesados em FHD

Not really because the Xbox one version of FH5 is not a completely different game, as far as I know.
Forza Horizon 2 on the 360 is a recreation of the Xbox one game using the engine of the first FH, and a lot of the terrain isn't even accessible.
@@Pedro_The_Neco i doubt the Xbox One version will look as detail as the reveal gameplay. Probably less detail and less resolution, something like dynamic 1080p 30fps. And Xbox One X 30 fps and dynamic 4k

These are completely different games. The 360 was not even developed by Playground Games. This is not a remaster, just Forza horizon 2 was released at launch as a next gen Xbox 1 title, but they still wanted to support 360 players and got Sumo Digital to do a 360 port.

there are lots of inaccessibles terrains on the 360 version. The 360 version uses the same engine as the first FH but the first FH has better graphic overall, while FH2 on the 360 feels like an half-hearted port
I mean back then, if money was tight, the 360 version was fine. Definitely doesn't hold up to the test of time though. The Xbox One version does.

no sé pero en una Xbox 360 que tengo se ve mejor el juego con mejor iluminación y reflejos más bien dicho un poco mejor que el del video
En RUclips siempre se dice que se ve algo por debajo que la calidad original debido a unos filtros y escalados que hace ,no sé si es cierto pero lo tengo entendido así por gente .

I wouldn't expect so much differences tbh. More like native 4k and smooth 60fos + 120fps mode.
Not even close.. the difference here was massive.. from just some trees on the xbox 360 to a lot of vegetation on the x one , from bad lightning and reflection on the 360 to impressive at that time on the xb one , and so on with the graphical part.. and the fact that the xbox one map was larger and had more multiplayer features..
Now the difference is that series x has more fps , higher resolution and i guess higher view distance.. on a 1080p tv a newbie cant spot the difference between them
The xbox 360 version have a glitch, when you're too fast, you will fall under the map (on game first release). But at least ot gave me first place at that time lmao
The 360 version has a lot of invisible blocks on the road, you just crash into nothing and it can be annoying. Lol

Different games. The 360 version was built by sumo digital. Doesn't even cover all of the terrain.
@@ViktorSieger wdym by YES? this isnt a remaster. Both released at the same time, only difference is that the Xbox 360 was made by Sumo and they made it from the scratch to recreate the whole game in different engine (both port doesnt use the same engine)

That's not how that works.
Not only is there DRM for the XB1, there's no emulators and you can't just take a rip from one console and put it on another.

Well at least you can play xbox 360 version through xenia emulator, yeah still glitchy but at least you can experience a Forza Horizon before 3rd game on PC when they are still an xbox exclusive

Lol I have this game on 360 and it doesn't look that bad. The visual difference between the different versions is not that huge.
I think in reality the xbox360 version in this video is actually being played on a really low end PC with all visual settings turned to lowest.

I've played it back in 2015, and you're completely wrong. FH2 on the 360 looks bad and aged like a rancid milk in terms of graphic, and lots of terrains are inaccessible. On the other hand, the first Forza Horizon aged like a fine wine-- even when you play it on the 360, not on One/Series through backward comp.
you're clearly smoking when you said 'visual difference between these two isnt that huge', because both ports doesnt use the same engine. Sumo handles the 360 port, recreating the whole game by using FH1 engine while Playground Games handle the Xbox One version with a new engine.
Forza Horizon 2 aren't on PC genius!
