Ask any classical guitar student and they say Bach is their favorite. The only great composer who composed whole suites for the guitar/lute. Some of his progressions could even be mistaken for jazz passages.

Very nice Bach theme and acceptable performance, despite that very unortodox sitting position...🤭🤭🤭

Just seeing this today (Mittwoch, 24/01/2024). Agree with @raideninc below - sehr schöne, und sehr gefühlvoll. (Das Beste (für mich): das dies is in Bamberg passiert, und Bamberg war mein erste deutsche Stadt, in der ich als Grundsoldat stationiert war. 🥹)

Back in the 60's a group of young girls called themselves The Toys put words to this piece it's a cute record

I am learning this now and I really struggle with that.. ugh idk the measure somewhere in the middle. the 3-2-0 part on A string. She plays it with the 3-1-0 on B almost at the same time. How do I do that?

Nice acoustics. I love the way she's not rushing and clearly articulates each note played. Well done. (I use the Ramirez 125 anos.)

Isn't Bach a blast? Watching this takes me back to the day my first real musical mentor sat patiently with me as I tried over and over again to get the fingering for Borree right. That was close to 50 years ago and you know what, I could never play it anywhere near as well as he could. He died tragically a few years after that at the age of 25. Perhaps if I'm lucky, after God says it's okay for me to come home, him and I will sit down together again and maybe he can go over my technique with me one more time. Until he passed by that day and heard me playing on the stoop I didn't even know what technique was, let alone why it was important. He was a great player and a better person. RIP Jeff, you were never forgotten.
