The Prophet Zakariyyah kept the torch of Mosaic law burning. He used to pray devotionally and preach zealously. His wife and he were the symbols of piety and righteousness. The family tree of Zakariyyah, Yahya, Maryam and Esa AS is closely linked. Yahya AS would later be related to Esa AS, as his mother, the wife of Zakariyyah AS, was the maternal aunt of Maryam AS.

We do not care about biblical Zakariyyah or biblical anyone. We do not know the authors of the bible​ and its authenticity. The Quran is the direct word of Our Creator so it does not matter to us muslims, what people wrote and corrupted.@@obaidulhaque7510

Can you please clarify the use of Christ, in Jesus Christ? I’ve always thought this is haram. Shirk even, due to the use of it. Clearly I have been wrong? Allah knows best

Christ is name given by the Greeks/Romans. Christos: anointed. That's all.

Christ means Messiah, And Jesus was the messiah in islam, so we call him Jesus Christ or Yeshua Hamasiach
