Description:
Spider bites can sometimes turn you into a superhero, as in the case of Peter Parker in Spider-Man: The Movie. Assume the role of Peter, a good-hearted teenager bitten by a genetically engineered spider, which gives him muscles, incredible strength, and spider-like abilities. You'll have to learn how to control your powers including Spider Sense, web-slinging, and wall crawling, and the all-new aerial combat moves. The world's toughest villains, including Shocker, Vulture, and the Green Goblin will all be after you. Are you up for the challenge?

I love how Maguire, Dunst, and Dafoe were all brought back to play their video game counterparts (plus Bruce Campbell to play the tutorial narrator) yet they couldn't even find someone who sounded anything remotely like J.K. Simmons

Dunst only voiced Mary Jane in Spider-Man 2 game.
Plus Josh Keaton was originally supposed voice Peter Parker/Spider-Man for this at the time if they could'nt get Tobey to reprise his role as Spider-Man then instead Harry Osborn would be voiced by Keaton for the game.
Spider-Man 1 on the PS2 was one of, if not the VERY first video game I've ever played. It's so weird seeing this. It's like looking back at a part of your childhood that never happened.

I never knew Kraven was here. Now I know he was Xbox exclusive which was completely not fair since I had the game for GameCube. This should've been for all systems.

Dude same, me and my aunt would always play this game non stop, we would always compete with our scores on instant action and play the bowling game.
Be careful in this level, Kraven's traps are dangerous
But I am pretty sure even an average human being without superpowers could easily avoid them. The sniper part might be tricky though unless you actually know he tries to shoot you every time he reloads his gun.
Such badass mission but I find so hilarious is how this museum security is so dangerous 😂 there not fucking around with criminals.

I love this mission right there to bad this was on the Xbox version and not the PS2 version one but it's fun looking at the cutscenes to this one it's kinda funny how Spider-Man made a Batman reference about having a signal call him to fight crime. I gotta say I love this game since my childhood sure do bring back memories looking back. 👍

Did the developers really expect people to achieve the perfect bonus in this level?
Since you take mandatory damage from the poison, the bonus is based on going through the level without getting hit by Kraven's booby traps sans the poison.
I achieved the perfect bonus in this level. It was super easy for me, and I played it when I was in elementary school.
@@keybladeciel3716yep, I got no damage from the traps or sniper rifle. Only from the antitoxin.
Those rifle shots do a lot more damage then I remembered. You were lucky to pull through at the end.
Yeah, I honestly didn't think I was going to make it. Thankfully, it was the end of the level.

Never got to play this level as a kid with the PS2 port. I gotta say, though, they casted Peter Lurie perfectly for Kraven three years before I'd see F.E.A.R. Really gives those Paxton Fettel vibes with his evil chuckles and deep voice.
This could explain how spiderman and kraven knew each other in spiderman 3

I loved the Kraven part of this Spider-man game too bad I only have the PS2 version one which is okay, but I wish Kraven was in both the PS2, and Xbox versions that would be even cooler. But nonetheless I love this Spider-man movie game since my childhood sure does bring me back memories I've had Spider-man 1, 2, and 3 movie games since I was 9 years old. At 1:20 Spider-man made a Batman reference there it would be cool for someone to make a Spider signal to call Spider-man for help.

WTF is this mission part of the main story or is it optional because I swear I didn't even know that kraven was in this game, first time I saw kraven was in Spiderman 3
Kraven the Hunter was only on the Xbox version and he's part of the story. The other consoles (Gamecube/PS2) didn't get these missions for reasons I don't understand. It was rather surprising for me when I found out he was featured in the game as well.
God damn it! As soon as I saw this mission I wanted to play it but now I know I can't because I don't have an xbox. Is it the Xbox or the Xbox 360? I'm guessing it's Xbox. So this mission replaces another mission mmm too bad there's not a complete edition.
It's the Xbox version except it can be played on the Xbox 360. And no, this mission doesn't replace another mission. All the other missions are present on this game. The Xbox version is the complete edition.

@@kaanbolat1419 I doubt it, it's more likely that they wanted to incentivize people to buy the Xbox. Keep in mind that this was Microsoft's first endeavour into the console market which made them Sony and Nintendo's newest competitor since Sega stopped producing consoles. This was probably one of their many attempts to prove themselves worthy to be in the console war.

I had this game on X box and Kraven’s challenge was my favorite part to play through.
I grew up with this game on PS2 and until today had no idea Kraven was in it. Interesting.
This is like a "special edition" version of Spidey-Man. You won't find this on the PS2 or Gamecube version that's for sure. Only for the first Xbox.
One of these days I may need to get a classic Xbox to play this level

Microsoft most likely paid extra for these missions. Back then Microsoft was aggressively advertising the Original Xbox and trying to get sales by whatever means necessary.
true. the original x box actually did not make a profit. this game was a big deal back in the day, makes sense they paid for exclusive content

Yep but sadly Kraven the hunter and his levels are on the Xbox Version of this game only and you can buy an original Xbox off of eBay or if you have an Xbox 360 well your in luck this game is compatible with the Xbox 360 if you have the game your in luck

So did I. This battle was very surprising as I didn't expect all these traps to be present during the fight. The snakes in the pit really caught me off guard.

The guy who did Jameson's voice in this game sounded nothing like JK Simmons at all.
I played this game as a kid. So, I was wondering "Wtf? Kraven was in this game?" Given I played on Gamecube, I didn't know about the console exclusive then.
Spider-Man literally has super strength, spider sense, and can dodge bullets. Why didn't he break the glass and go out to beat Kraven?

That's because this level wasn't present on the PlayStation 2/Gamecube version. Kraven was exclusive to the Xbox version.

🤯🤯🤯 Kraven is in Spider-Man since when? I've played it on the PS2 for years and never seen this level and it starts the same way and has most of the same levels on different consoles I had no idea this was even in it.

When I first played this game on Game Cube, I could never get past the second level in warehouse. but i eventually did pass it. Now i just need to work up the gumption to play it again. I remember stopping at the level where you break into Oscorp

This game is based off the raimi trilogy, which did not have kraven in it at all, and coming to think of it, shocker, vulture, and scorpion were not in there either. Sony’s movies were the amazing Spider-Man series.

Yep me too. A lot of them are scams and could end up being one that involves a hunter with a huge ego trying to kill you.
from what i hear, the reason why this level wasn't on ps2 or gc is because there's certain parts in this level (particularly the hallway where kraven is trying to snipe spider-man) that just didn't run properly on the "weaker" systems. so i assume they just decided to get rid of the levels for gc and ps2 but kept them for xbox, considering it ran fine. i don't know the validity, but i figured it would be worth mentioning
Hm that's odd I mean the GCN ran it at 60fps locked and PC could as well but the ps2 had unlocked frame rate and it dropped a lot so I can understand why they did that.
It's a shame this mission is not available on GameCube

Yeah, that was a dirty move to leave out Kraven The Hunter on the other consoles. That's why I hate console exclusives.
If Kraven was only exclusive for the Xbox, why didn't the PS2 and GameCube versions have their own exclusive levels with a different villain? Like if the PS2 version had Mysterio and the GameCube version had The Chameleon.
@@YTWarrior100 Mysterio appeared in Spider-Man 2 video game, the exclusive villain of PS2 version could have been Kingpin featuring Daredevil helping Spider-Man.

This was a great level also the boss fight was awesome as well. They should have included both levels with Kraven for all of the versions of the game for the PlayStation 2, Game Cube, and computer I would have liked to play these two levels. Kraven is one of my favorite Spider-Man villains 👍❤️😀

So why exactly was this only on the Xbox and not on other platforms because the only explanation I have is that Microsoft paid Activision and Treyarch for this exclusivity like they would do for Call of Duty in the Ps3/X360 generation.

To get perfect points, do you actually have to not take damage even from the first few seconds of poison gas?
No. Just avoid damage from the traps or the sniper rifle. You can’t control the poison.
They included all villans thats why spiderman 4 was cancelled
