excellent and very useful video! ....but how can I add the owner of the workstation (domain user logged in to workstation) to the remote desktop local group?....I can not achieve this....Thank you very much
Can you elaborate on the situation that you want to achieve? Owner of the workstation logged in to workstation? If he is not part of the RDP group then how can he login into the workstation?
hi @@SwapnilInfotech,thanks for answering. I'm telling you, currently users log in from home via vpn to their workstations because through GPO I added the local Remote desktop user group to "Domain Users". Now the bosses want each user to only connect to their workstation so I need to make a script that identifies the logged in user and then adds it to the remote desktop local group. Once each user who owns the workstation is included in the local group of Remote desktop users, I will be able to remove the restricted groups GPO that added "domain user" in the RD User of all domain machines. Right now all users can enter all machines and I need each user to enter only their machine. Thank you very much for your cooperation
@@SwapnilInfotech, thank you very much for your help and dedication. It is exactly the solution that I was not able to perform. I was completely stuck on this topic. Thank you so much
Thank you, the script does not work on servers 2012, what is the problem?
Did you checked on other Operating System, what is the error or what is PowerShell Version are you using?
Wow😮
