The family has owned the track for about 20 years and as long as she wasn't putting her face into everything it was a nice place to go watch racing. Over time, except for the big events, Kokomo attendance seems to have fallen off. And her attitude toward those that aren't part of her "local" cult is probably a big reason why. She's a bully and a drama queen and gets away with it. We quit that place a few years ago and won't ever go back.
Not sure what her problem is, she's like that all the time, unless your a sprint car team, but we really enjoyed having you there. I was going to say come back for the klash but I wouldn't want to come back either, heck of a run and safe travels!

We use to go run the Kokomo clash every year. Prolly the same lady. Did use wrong an when asked about it she got complete sideway.. we haven't been back since. That was 5 yrs ago..chase ur looking more comfortable an less stressed since leaving the tour.. keep it up guys hope u come run tri city speed way in auburn michigan next year..
It does state on the racetrack website that 4 wheelers are not allowed in the campground during race event. Golf carts are allowed. Either way, kindness makes the world go round. Sounds like the track personnel could use a dose of it towards their patrons.

One of the oldest dirt tracks in the US. Both tracks have been on the. SRX tour. When u mentioned coming east coast, you definitely need to check both tracks out. I know Sharon follows UMP rules. Great comeback !! It was exciting to watch Chase shuck and dive for positions . I am a little disturbed to see an off duty officer was used as a pitbully . The escalation of a verbal incident by using a law enforcement officer is beyond reckless. Was he acting under the color of law when He ( got in your face )? This aggressive act on this officers behalf should be addressed. Is he a peace officer or just the track bully? Kokomo Karen does not need the encouragement this action gives to her!!!!
I had the same thoughts. Shouldn't be involved with track managements verbal bullying. Supervisor needs to have a discussion with the Officer and track management as to what should be expected during an off duty assignment. Looks bad on the agency management.

Very few racers that have good equipment that aren’t locals will go there anyway due to the tendency of getting screwed one way or another if you beat the locals

That’s really a shame…I am from SE Indiana and race locally at Lawrenceburg Speedway. Typically racers and track owners/promoters around here are some of the nicest people you’ll come across. I’m really hoping she was just having a terrible day and I hate that you guys had to go through this. As a fellow UMP racer, I’m sorry!

It would be awsome if you came to West Virginia if you want to come east. I have two track here local that run two different days. We have Ohio Valley speedway in Lubeck, WV and we have Skyline Speedway in Guysville,OH. Both great track. Two completely different surfaces. Would be awsome to see you this way if your wanted to come east. Love watching the family and the racing.
Friday night Dixieland Speedway in North Carolina Saturday night Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica. VA Not sure about a Sunday but those are 2, really cool tracks. Side note: VMS is owned by the Sawyer family. The same folks who owned Richmond International Raceway. Beautiful, Class A facility .
Kokomo has more banking now than it did when I used to race. I kind of like the more flat Kokomo a little better. Although, Kokomo put on some of the best racing especially for the Sprint car side of it. But it's all good.
That’s some wheeling a race car if only they had a caution to bunch y’all back up but of course when you want one they don’t have one and when you’re leading by half a straight away and don’t want a caution there’s 5 after that first one. Winchester Speedway In VA. They have a big mod race next weekend called Ernie D’s 40. Good layout. And then Bedford speedway in PA for the Troutman memorial!!
Come see us out in NE Florida. Volusia speedway, golden isles speedway, All-tech raceway, North Florida speedway and waycross speedway all within an hour a hour and a half drive from Jacksonville. Volusia is a must race track in my opinion. And golden isles just hosted the modified mafia tour a few weeks back

Yall should try to go to ponderosa speedway in junction city ky next year. Its small tri oval multi groove, and fast track. Its actually very fun to race on. And the pits have plenty of room. They had over 160 cars there the last year I raced there, and everybody had room.

I75 tn , and tn national, would love to have you race at one of these tracks. I speak as a fan , and I support my local dirt tracks , o and theirs many more but these are me favorites
If you are looking for more tracks to run. Red hill speedway in sumner, IL is a pretty cool track. It is a 3/8 mile that just opened back up last year, after sitting since 2004. They run UMP sanctioned shows and the racing there is real fast and good. Would love to see you guys make it up there sometime.

I was there it was a heck of a run. Sad to see what happened. Had to be a huge misunderstanding and I’m sure she is rethinking what happened

Just come race an entire season between Pevely and Adams County Illinois speedway and you'll race against some killers and get plenty of experience.

That’s really a shame…I am from SE Indiana and race locally at Lawrenceburg Speedway. Typically racers and track owners/promoters around here are some of the nicest people you’ll come across. I’m really hoping she was just having a terrible day and I hate that you guys had to go through this. As a fellow UMP racer, I’m sorry!

It would be awsome if you came to West Virginia if you want to come east. I have two track here local that run two different days. We have Ohio Valley speedway in Lubeck, WV and we have Skyline Speedway in Guysville,OH. Both great track. Two completely different surfaces. Would be awsome to see you this way if your wanted to come east. Love watching the family and the racing.
You all need to bring your UMP up to Winchester Speedway in Winchester VA. Very fast 3/8 mile track with some tough racing.

Not sure about a Sunday but those are 2, really cool tracks. Side note: VMS is owned by the Sawyer family. The same folks who owned Richmond International Raceway. Beautiful, Class A facility .
Kokomo has more banking now than it did when I used to race. I kind of like the more flat Kokomo a little better. Although, Kokomo put on some of the best racing especially for the Sprint car side of it. But it's all good.

Winchester Speedway In VA. They have a big mod race next weekend called Ernie D’s 40. Good layout. And then Bedford speedway in PA for the Troutman memorial!!

Come see us out in NE Florida. Volusia speedway, golden isles speedway, All-tech raceway, North Florida speedway and waycross speedway all within an hour a hour and a half drive from Jacksonville. Volusia is a must race track in my opinion. And golden isles just hosted the modified mafia tour a few weeks back
The mailing/business address for the facility is an Illinois address. That might explain "queen bee's" issue.

Yall should try to go to ponderosa speedway in junction city ky next year. Its small tri oval multi groove, and fast track. Its actually very fun to race on. And the pits have plenty of room. They had over 160 cars there the last year I raced there, and everybody had room.
I know a track that ill never visit now
9:23 our local tracks(southern ohio)have that rule due to the insurance companies requiring it

I75 tn , and tn national, would love to have you race at one of these tracks. I speak as a fan , and I support my local dirt tracks , o and theirs many more but these are me favorites
If you are looking for more tracks to run. Red hill speedway in sumner, IL is a pretty cool track. It is a 3/8 mile that just opened back up last year, after sitting since 2004. They run UMP sanctioned shows and the racing there is real fast and good. Would love to see you guys make it up there sometime.
