Oil is somehow gettting into to the combustion chamber. It could be a number of things but most of the time its valve seals. GL! Thanks for the exhaust clip.

I see your from Jersey too. Do you own a M45? I see you've been liking a lot of videos for M45s. I got rid of the car after 3 years of ownership. That is the best car I have owned yet....

Daniel S. Hey Daniel, you know what's funny is that I am in market for M45/X/S in next year or two and I am scoping out what has been done to them since I am auto enthusiasts. I am looking for a car to replace my Audi B5 1.8T Sport because it is getting older and more costly. What did you like about the car and is there anything I should look out for? I was looking into the 2008-2010 range but whats interesting is I haven't seen many 2010's ever...

Mainly it was the V8. I lived in another state when I bought the car and it rarely snowed and roads were much better. When I moved back to NJ, I had to get rid of it. I was worried the Rear wheel drive wouldn't handle the snow. I ended up getting a 2011 FX35. 2 years of owning that and I was hungry for another V8 so I got rid of the the FX and got a 5.7L Hemi V8 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
As far as the M45 that I had, it was a sport. The car looked perfect. Tinted windows all around including the windshield. I had it dropped as well so the ride height made it look even better. It was a low sitting, mean looking, clean car that sounded like a tuned beast, all while being luxurious. If i had the $$ and space, I would have just gotten a winter beater but that was not an option for me.
One thing to look out for is oil burning. It will most likely happen. After some research and joining a couple of online forums, namely being Nicoclub, the burning was not only me. I accepted it and ended up filling it up often. Blue smoke only when I turned the car on, but never after it was warmed up. Other than that, it was a great car and if you can, get one with the surround sound (speakers on the seats). It makes a huge difference.

Daniel S. Thank you for the inside scoop! From what I read online and on KBB.com is that a lot of people love this car. It got 9.5/10 which is almost perfect, it is really hard to believe that a car does a lot of things well. My dad had 05 Maxima for about 8+ years until it got to old but man that engine/trans was rock solid even with him not being on top of maintenance. He ran into a lot of sensor issues but he's not meticulous with his car.
I own two mustangs with a 4.6L V8 and I am spoiled with the torque down low. The main reason why I kept my Audi so long was that it really was solid vehicle in bad weather. A proper set of snow tires and you can go anywhere. The car wasn't lowered either so you wont beach whale the car on a snow bank lol. If I get one of these models I definitely going to get the "X" because I need it.
Lastly, I used Amsoil Engine/Trans flush detergent that cleaned the varnish of the valve stems in my 96 Mustang GT. It had blue smoke on really hot days in the summer on start up. Those engines are known for valve stem issues because of age. The detergent cleaned it up and doesn't smoke at all anymore. I am upgrading the motor anyway so that issue will permanently be fixed.
