And yes, I have considered writing a list of what I feel pleased with at the end of the day. I'm not surprised that it is a therapeutic approach to not only revealing what makes you feel good but also to boost ones spirit and motivation. Thanks again!!
Lovin' the videos! But I gotta say that I think the 10,000 Hour Rule has been debilitating for a lot of folks. I recently read a book called The First 20 Hours: How To Learn Anything and the author has a subtitle in the intro called: "Damn You, Malcolm Gladwell". He goes on to say that the 10,000 Hour Rule, while very true, stops many people from even attempting to learn something new. They think, "Why should I try to learn to play the piano, (or anything else they might have an interest in) because it would take me 10,000 Hours. argh, why bother?" But no, it only takes 10,000 hours to become one of the best in the world in that skill. So what? Most people don't want to learn something new in order to be one of the best in the world. They just think it will be enjoyable. Well, the author Josh Kaufman proposes that you can acquire many skills in just 20 hours of deliberate practice over the course of a month and shows you how (if it is a big skill like playing the piano, you would break that into manageable goals). I'm about to give it a try this month and learn to play a song on the ukelele i just got for Christmas! Never played an instrument before... we shall see! :)
Hi Brian, Thanks again for another great video. I struggle with depression and ADHD. I find it really hard to organize and I am in complete awe with your process of note taking and summarizing the materials/books that you read. I would just love to a video on how you break things down in your head, digest the information and relay it to your audience. I really could use some skills on organizing all these great ideas. You also mentioned putting the links to various subtopics you wrote about
That's awesome and very inspiational. I had no idea that there´s a positive correlation between the GDP and depression rate. Thanks for your efforts to make this video.
Love from India 🇮🇳!

Great insight from great book
Thanks for the video Brian, loved it. Had no idea Lincoln and Churchill were so depressed. O_o
ABC's remind me of what your talked about in the video on Viktor Frankl... Attitude is so important! Now, I need to work on it.
Pretty inspiring, eh?!
