🎗️ 3rd Annual Be Johnathan Strong 5K Run/Walk | December 7, 2024 🎗️
On Saturday, December 7th, 2024, we gathered at Winthrop Lake in Rock Hill, SC, for a day filled with love, remembrance, and community. The 3rd Annual Be Johnathan Strong 5K Run/Walk honored the legacy of Johnathan McCain and celebrated all the brave childhood cancer warriors who inspire us every day.
✨ Highlights of the Day:
🏃‍♂️ Runners and walkers of all ages laced up their sneakers and brought incredible energy to this heartfelt event.
🏈 Former Carolina Panther Nate Salley and Friends inspired the crowd, signing autographs, taking photos, and sharing uplifting words.
🎶 DJ Kels set the tone with music and positivity all morning long.
🎅 Our Santa Toy Drive, in partnership with the local YMCA, was a success, collecting toys and clothes to brighten the holiday season for families in need.
🎷 The moving New Orleans-style second line parade paid tribute to loved ones we hold close in our hearts.
💛 Together, we raised $21,916! After covering event costs, $8,943 will go directly to programs that support families impacted by childhood cancer, advocacy efforts, and community outreach.
