@Michael Rittman i'm so flattered you always tailing me with such devotion. You must be 14 yrs old 😂 On a more serious note sad you have such an ageist attitude...go look it up!
Thanks!! It takes me back: (1) In college I had a very second-hand Lambretta 150 scooter (a close relative to the Vespa). Discovered that the upper eye of the rear spring/shock had broken off. It rode much more comfortably after that assembly was replaced. (2) Later on when I road raced bicycles my coach (who also raced) had a Vespa 150 which we used for motor pacing sessions, taking turns driving for each other on alternate days. Spent a lot of time staring at the Vespa's tail-light (and in fact my front tire was wearing the lens away!).
bloody hell Silvio, the first lady in your video in ages and you have to go and do a MGIF to turn right! ! ! vespa, the only death trap to send you off with a big smile on your face lol
Love that the video started with a stall for that authentic vintage Vespa experience Also the girl at 1:30 needs to move her seat post down an inch or so that looks almost dangerously high
@@SilvioDiego Neat, how does it feel vs cycling. When I cycle vs when I go on my motorbike I feel a lot safer on the motorbike - probably as I wear all the gear. How is it London, I guess it is it's own thing?
@@TheCat333 motoribke is SO much safer than cycling. statistically, cycling is safer, but i feel far more confident and secure on a motorbike than i do cycling. You have the power to overtake almost everyone, you can do the speed limit, you can sit away from parked cars without getting beeped at, nobody spits or shouts at you, you cant be told to pay road tax or use cycle lanes and you can outrun anyone who tries to argue with you. Bicycles are a different game. Ive had probably thirty times more problems when cycling than ive ever had on a motorbike.
@@1ninjatiger but they arent- Yes statistically theyre more dangerous, but a bicycle is so much more vulnerable. If you cycle on a 60 mph road with hgvs, delivery vans and cars around you, in a heavy headwind at 10 mph, do you feel safe? have you had a 40 tonne truck come past you inches from your handlebars? whereas a motorbike, you just do 60 mph and nobody bothers you. In a crash, certainly a motorbike may be going way more quickly and cause injuires of death to the rider, but you also die on a bicycle if you go under the wheels of a lorry trying to squeeze past you or an abusive motorist ramming you off the road with their truck.
There's an old joke about mopeds, but if you're easily offended please don't read any further. What do mopeds and fat ladies have in common? There great fun to ride, but you wouldn't want your mates to see you on one. 👍😀
Huge difference....that is a Vespa...a motor scooter. Its not a moped(which have pedals and smaller engine). And so that joke would not apply here haha! And yes...I wouldn't want to be seen on a moped....they suck haha!
damn cyclist, pay some god damn road tax and pass a test! mr silvio, i own, three pedal bikes, a 2019 suzuki sv650 vtwin[outright, not leased] a husqvarna wre 125 2 stroke enduro bike, and a 1998 kawasaki er5 i rebuilt from parts. I did own a car, but i sold it. I never saw the point of owning it when i prefer bikes. Its funny, if people see you riding a pedal bike they assume you cant afford a car, but my sv will hit 60 from a standstill in under four seconds. I have paid.... 20, 60 and 95 quid in VED i think.
Thanks for this - I thought it was only me who stalled and struggled with my Vespa 50 Special gears. Love it.
I struggle bit time with mine! 🤣 but mine is a 125 Super.
Soo cool, my dad used to have a lambretta back in the day!
It's beautiful! I love vintage 🌹
Me too!!

is that a 150 super?
Precisely.
Silvio Diego amazing!
Very nice vespa you have. Bianchi blue with white grips. I hope you have white wall tyres... if not, why not hahaa
That would be cool!
Desde la Vespa el mundo se ve mejor. Gauchita la moto!!!
Did you stole the bike from the Italian guy?
Why did you not leave the bus out at 2.27, be courteous
Sorry! 😕
yeah nice mate keep on adding to london's pollution with your essential journeys
