My favourite soft spoken artist talks about books? It can't get better than that! I haven't watched the video yet, but it deserves an instant like. Cheers!
this video scratches an itch in my brain! I’ve listened to it multiple times already because it is on some of my favorite topics and very soothing! Hope you continue with this series 😊❤
I totally agree with what you said about tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow! I was either bored, depressed or rolling my eyes reading this, I actually didn't finish it and couldn't understand why there was so much hype around it. I honestly think it could potentially be because the cover looks so aesthetic and it looks great in tiktoks -.-
You remind me so much of Madison Moon ASMR. I love both your soft spoken and whisper voice. And of course all the tapping and book triggers were all TINGLE INDUCING! I couldn’t subscribe fast enough ❤
Omg I'm reading the Drowned Empire series right now after a friend recommended it and LOVING it. I'm so excited to hear someone else talk about it! If you are reading this and like romantasy then take this as a sign to read it!!
I also thought A Darker Shade of Magic fell flat! I was just not hooked by the plot or characters. So glad I'm not alone! Also I love your soft speaking - that plus bookish asmr is chef's kiss
I really do love reading and used to read constantly as a kid, but as I got older I just started STRUGGLING and only recently was diagnosed with ADHD. Watching this inspired me to start researching how to help myself read more with my new diagnosis so thank you! Also I love this video! I’m sorry you didn’t love all your books though!
That sounds tough, and I can definitely relate to seasons where reading feels hard to do or even a drag. I know sometimes a kindle or audiobooks can help and also only sticking with genres I know I feel mentally ready for lol. I hope you find ways that really make it enjoyable for you again. ❤️Wishing you all the best on your reading journey 🥰✨📚
girrrlll I already know the next few books I'm gonna be reading due to buddy reading an old favorite with a friend but gosh dang it you have me wanting to binge read Daughter of the Drowned Empire soooo badly right now D:
"His name is Duncan 😏 " 😆 I just love the face and the little dance you do after saying that... Cracked me up. That little attitude has me hitting subscribe. 😂
I think your look is different and really pretty in this video-did you try some thing different (or that I haven’t seen before) for your eye makeup, maybe? Anyway, I think it looks extra nice-or maybe I’m just happy to hear someone talking about books; I love books, but I never get to hear much talk about them-even at the book club I attend! 😂😂😂
Do you have recommendations for fantasy novels where the main character isn’t 17/18/19? I’ve noticed this to be the case with a lot of popular novels and it’s not that I’m not interested in novels featuring those ages, just more that I find novels where the MC is more adult to be my style!
I just started crescent city and the MC is around 23 which is nice. I agree a lot of the women tend to be like 19/20 but I think more of them mid twenties or even 30s would be great
I love that that you found Sadie unlikable! I could not believe nobody in the story was calling her out for her bad behavior. Sam wasn't amazing but everyone in the story seemed to blame him and absolve sadie at every turn.
I sped read ADSOM and I think I only picked up parts I liked - I can totally see why you felt how you did! I read the whole series and ended up loving Kell and Lila but it took me the whole series to get there haha
I feel like if the book had been 200 pages longer I might have been able to connect more with the characters but perhaps I’ll finish the series and see 😅❤️
I felt the same way about Tomorrow, Tomorrow, Tomorrow. I didn’t like any of the characters, maybe 1, their friend (can’t think of his name right now) I also felt just down when I was reading it lol. I don’t see how it’s so highly regarded, but to each their own I suppose! Lol
Haha this is so real, I agree. It was sad toned for sure and I definitely think my head space at the time was not really ready for it either - hence why I dove right back into romance 😂❤️
Totally agree with you..I also gave away my "Tomorrow and Tomorrow " book. In fact, I didn't even want to finish it because of the characters and the way too technical video game stuff. The sexual violence was also disturbing ..the book was a total mess! I love that you love to read!
Literature is actually the only thing I like about being German, our language used to have such a richness and I love reading books that were originally written in German, it's so sad how the younger generations basically only speak basic German and those beautiful expressions and grammatical means disappear
I agree. I was surprised tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow was written by a woman. The female character was so poorly written and seemed like something a guy would write about a fantasy girl in video games. So tropey. Perfect, beautiful, kind, nerdy, and smart 🙄
Don't get me wrong, I love your channel and this was a great video. And everyone has their own personal ASMR likes and dislikes. But for me, the tapping on the books is too loud and frantic and not relaxing.

It’s honestly one of my favorite series - somehow fed me all the right chemistry moments while still keeping me on my toes 😍❤️
loved this!! definitely adding daughter of the drowned empire to my tbr
Umm the queen of books!!! 😱 love you Haley! Thank you for being an inspo to all of us and getting us excited about reading 🥰❤️📚
I also thought A Darker Shade of Magic fell flat! I was just not hooked by the plot or characters. So glad I'm not alone! Also I love your soft speaking - that plus bookish asmr is chef's kiss
So glad you enjoyed 🥰❤️ and I am glad you relate cause I thought I was missing something in that book haha
Just saved all the books in the drowned empire series on my library app, and I’ll be starting it once I finish iron flame 😊 thanks for the rec!
Yay! Hope you enjoy it 🥰💕

Thank you! 🥰❤️

Have you read the fourth wing? I’m almost done with it and been loving it. Seems to match up with what you were saying you enjoy reading.
I felt the same way about Tomorrow, Tomorrow, and Tomorrow. The video game premise was interesting, but I agree that it went on for way too long.
Glad I’m not completely alone on that haha 😅
"His name is Duncan 😏 "
😆 I just love the face and the little dance you do after saying that... Cracked me up. That little attitude has me hitting subscribe. 😂
Aww thank you!! Haha I get excited about my fave characters 😂❤️🥰
I just started ACOTAR book one and I’m really liking it so far!
Just wait for book 2 lol
It’s a great series! 💕

Aww thank you! I am wearing more makeup in this video haha 💕
Loved this video! Would love more videos likes this 😀

Try "When Women Were Dragons" it's definitely the most original story I've read and the main characters are older women.
I just started crescent city and the MC is around 23 which is nice. I agree a lot of the women tend to be like 19/20 but I think more of them mid twenties or even 30s would be great

Yeah i wanted to root for her but I just couldn’t connect to her or understand her motives 🤷🏻♀️
I sped read ADSOM and I think I only picked up parts I liked - I can totally see why you felt how you did! I read the whole series and ended up loving Kell and Lila but it took me the whole series to get there haha
Side note: I read this series years ago and tried to read Addie when it came out and actually hated it, I was so disappointed 😭
I feel like if the book had been 200 pages longer I might have been able to connect more with the characters but perhaps I’ll finish the series and see 😅❤️
The way you talked about that book series is EXACTLY how I feel about The Ravenhood Series by Kate Stewart😭😭
I’ll have to check it out! 🥰❤️
Love your nails, are they gel? Did you so them yourself and if so whats the polish?
I felt the same way about Tomorrow, Tomorrow, Tomorrow. I didn’t like any of the characters, maybe 1, their friend (can’t think of his name right now) I also felt just down when I was reading it lol. I don’t see how it’s so highly regarded, but to each their own I suppose! Lol

scorpio dominant and i also love nesta 😂 my fave acotar book
I was unsure about her at first but I was like I kind of like her haha 😂💅🏻
Totally agree with you..I also gave away my "Tomorrow and Tomorrow " book. In fact, I didn't even want to finish it because of the characters and the way too technical video game stuff. The sexual violence was also disturbing ..the book was a total mess! I love that you love to read!
I kept reading hoping there would be a twist that made it all worth it but unfortunately it just wasn’t my cup of tea 😅
Omg you’re talking about my latest hyper fixation: romantacy books 😂 if you like fantasy a lot check out Fourth Wing!!! 📚😁
It’s on my TBR list! 🐉✨
silver flames is a 5/5⭐️ !!!
Loved it so much!
Have you read the Brown Sisters books by Talia Hibbert? Such good funny romance. Highly recommend ❤
I will check it out! 🥰💕
I think we have the same kindle case 😄
How spicy is the drowned empire series , it sounds so good !
I would say spicy but not a lot of it if that makes sense and happens in later books too
Struggling to finish it 😐
Literature is actually the only thing I like about being German, our language used to have such a richness and I love reading books that were originally written in German, it's so sad how the younger generations basically only speak basic German and those beautiful expressions and grammatical means disappear
There is such a beauty in the way language was written back then ❤️
❤❤❤

I think I was more confused by her motivations and just couldn’t relate (whatever they were lol). 🫠
Don't get me wrong, I love your channel and this was a great video. And everyone has their own personal ASMR likes and dislikes. But for me, the tapping on the books is too loud and frantic and not relaxing.
