Despite having been in India for a while, I still haven't had the pleasure of trying pani puri, and when Omkar at the hotel told me there was a great pani puri just nearby, I had to try it. Was wondering actually. How come a country under british raj for so many years have its people who doesn't even understand basic English.
True! Even PP person speaks English! Even the watch guy spoke some English. In many countries hardly anyone speaks English so it’s difficult to enjoy that country. Shame about that person charging 20 more after the work is done!

To clarify, the dry pani puri he gave you at the end is called "sukha puri" (literally meaning dry puri) and its meant to soothe the spicy kick in your mouth after finishing the pani puri.
What a concept, in Pakistan our pani puri is like sweet and sour but not spicy 😅 and actually i tried Indian pani puri in Dubai.

*One of the best Pani puris in town. Very clean & hygienic. They use bottled mineral water to make these. So very safe to eat Pani Puris at this place.*
2. Sardar Pav Bhaaji - (area - Tardeo in Mumbai) -
*The best and the most buttery Paav Bhaaji on Planet Earth.*
3. Bade Miyan - Late night place - is open till 3 am or so (area - near Taj hotel & the Gate way of India in Mumbai)
*A late night place, patrons eat in their cars, but has a seating area as well. Famous for their wraps, Tikkas, Tandooris & barbecued stuff.*
4. Leopold Cafe (area - Colaba causeway in Mumbai) - *Nice beer, barbecues, nice desserts.*

Great video. That panipuri looked delicious. I am sure it tasted great. The panipuri seller was honest and intelligent, and had a certain brightness about him. Impressive how well he understood English considering it's likely not something he went to school to learn. Need to find some panipuris now!
One other thing, don't think the watch repair people scammed you. They probably had to pay more for the glass from the place where they bought it to fix it. Great price overall.
