So much so that on vacation, my wife and I decided to sell our house, which had a nice chunk of equity. Acting upon that idea changed our trajectory. I like to save we leveled up!

The best thing you can do both is learn who you are and understand why you do what you, and what are your motivations. Ex. Money ain't my motivation my desire to be comfortable is my motivation so I work in order to be comfortable. Hope that helps as well

I was at my job for almost 9 years, and a few weeks ago I was terminated cause of a stupid decision I made. So for a while I've been going through your channel and Just really trying to get what you advice and all. And honestly I have learned a lot and I agree with a point in this post. You see, I am 20, 21 in July and I come from a third world country where all these opportunities are just so limited. Okay its just complete school, get a job, get married, have kids and your life is over as a woman. I am a freelance ghostwriter but then there is so much limitation and so much restrictions. But I guess the main thing is just the mindset, I haven't really done a lot of reading but, I have a mindset that really wants to break past that limitation and I just keep searching for a way out and just generally rejecting those limitations. my fear has been being a mother and not having income. I am trying now to launch my own web site and business I know I need to leave my job, I have a mortgage and kids that depend on me. I have investing my saving into my products and am moving forward. I am trying to change my mindset but its hard. I set myself up mentally for failure constantly just because it was easier to deal with. I am now 46 and that is a whole new beast lol. The trick I do to save money is I add up my income and subtract my bills. That amount I force into my broker, every check. Actually it's different amounts for each check. Then I just try to squeak by every month, living on the extreme cheap, but I keep building money in the broker.
