It's easier to double-team Lopez in the low post, so Brooklyn had to change their style. Moving Lopez outside the 3-point line was a very smart move.

I hope the Lakers keep Stephen Zimmerman because has that same ability. The only 7-footer that I would try to team up with Brooke Lopez for a Twin Towers lineup, because both are agile.

The rest are parked on the 3 point lane for spacing. Players like Boban are so skilled down low, but get no minutes because of fucking analytics coaching. Today's NBA is boring. Everyone jacks up 3s and barely anyone plays defense. Do your research on the 70s-to early 2000s NBA son. Then you'll see elite post play from Centers and Forwards. Even guards backed you down then.

He's a great offensive player but poor rebounder, what else did the Lakers get from the trade?
phillip Hype Great point about Brooke Lopez's rebounding. Julius Randle broke his leg in his 1st NBA game. He came back the next season & went the truck off:
1.) Only Laker with a Triple Double
2.) Ranked #10 in the NBA for Rebounding, basically as a rookie
3.) Naming Luke Walton as head coach was bad for Randle because he took Randle away from the paint & put him at the Top of Key
4.) Randle will cover for Lopez's weakness at rebounding
5.) Brooke Lopez is a "Finesse Big" that doesn't like to bang in the paint, great 3-point shooter though
