Have been loving the AGF servos and have upgraded most of my cars to them. In the mini-z space nothing beats their micro servos
Nice! And bonus tip the servo horn just dremmel the tip down to the 2nd hole and voila! Did it for my traxxas vehicle.
Its a pitty that AGF isnt often covered ....people still think its Alibaba hardware. Their products are ace....and of course, the A73 you have is programmable ;)

I would bet the red 2 pin connector is for use with the higher voltage servos that are powered off a separate battery. I've been using the A80BHSW servos for the past year and they've been great.
Yeah they have some 12V servos which might need separate power source.
@@netcruzer that's what I'm thinking! The A80BHSW servos used to be a steal - you could find them for $55 new on Banggood. They're still worth the price but it's gone up.
Problem I have with AGF is on the return stroke the servo is very rough. Help the servo turn and you can feel the pulses. Not good for big airplane elevator returning to center slow as you can see it is not smooth. But smooth under load. WEARD.
I have a low profile servo for the throttle and brake from them in my x-ray, but I haven't got an engine to test it yet
So how is it working now? Still good? I've been looking at some cheap 9imod servos for about 40 dollers, they look good. May get a few some some futer projects. 🤔
Yes still good. I won 1st place at Otterville O-Town Showdown 2021 with this servo in the Tekno mini Truggy. 👍
@@netcruzer Nice! I settled on a Powerhobby bls729. It is very powerful, and smooth! I run Serpent, and the New 2.0 Tekno is pretty much the same layout. Check out my latest video! I just finnisd a new SRX8 pro E-buggy and can't wait to race it!

Minute 1:40 you say it will work out of the box without programming it, so I'm still unsure what is the purpose of the programmer. Cant you just adjust EPA, speed, trim, sub trim from the radio?

How does the AGF A81BHSW servo compare to the Protek 170SBL? Im deciding which one to put on my Tekno EB48. 2 for racing. The AGF seems much more advanced

I also love these. I bought two SA81BVMW, but cannot update the firmware. It says it needs v.1.1, but I only have V1.2-0.48. I cannot find it. If anybody have that version, please contact me :-)
