So I cleared all content , including the boss and the raid. I played the SOCR Outsider with Mayfly goggles, 3p Lonewolf, 2p Heavy Duty. I am always best DPS. Outside of RAW DPS pls remember the following: 1) If you go for the SMG you will need endless Ammo. With the SOCR Outsider I only run the Steel AP Ammo (because cheap) and still rock. 2) it is easy to upgrade Mayfly goggles to Rank 5 and SOCR Outsider to Rank 5 because they purple! 3) you can not always stand next to a boss / great one so you will loose dmg with the SMG (lower range then AR). Overall if you think about it: Just stick with the AR unless you on PVP Server (obviously there the SMG shredding more).
Next level for this build is SMG, and try to stack as much crit crit damage and fire rate as possible, im not sure investing in power surge damage is so great. Some way to increase fire rate and reload speed should be better. I don't see a huge potential for competition against the other builds. Like shrapnel seems king, but I already invested so much in this one I think I'll stick to it. I think Ill stick to the main idea of the hood, increase crit chance by procing power surge, procing power surge to gain more crit chance. Maybe with perfect elem status mods enhanced on the right stats, but if not full crit seems better. Im gonna replace the celestial thingy until I got the SMG, I think the AR is way too slow for this thing to be good.
