If she gets nominated at the Oscars, hope she wins
she will get nominated whether she wins is another story but it was a magnificent performance
Pretty sure she will.
Ll
A lovely passionate woman who represents Native Women well. I am so proud of her.
So true. Well said.
Yes, Natives
"We Are Still Here"
Shout out from a California Navajo and Pomo Tribe woman ;*)
She is such a great actress. I hope she wins an oscar.
Lily deserves all the success and attention. Happy for her 🙏
My goodness she’s beautiful, what a queen.
She gave best female performance this year along with Sandra Huller
Made me cry just hearing her talk about it!
She was absolutely fabulous
A sane and rational individual in hollywood.. imagine that!
So glad I got to watch this in theaters. Definitely a gut wrenching experience.
She gave an absolutely phenomenal performance. Best movie of the year.
Gale cutting her off as she was speaking about the very real historic figure she’s playing to talk about the super famous people she got to work with is a choice…like….let her explain before you talk about Scorsese, De Niro, or DiCaprio
Gale was incredibly frustrating in this interview.
I think she was uncomfortable with Lilly not matching her energy, Lily’s stillness makes her uncomfortable.
Gale cut her off because the segment was short, and she didn’t have air time for Lily to speak that in depth.
It was rude.
Thank you I think we are all over Gayle now
She is such a class act.
Gale stop cutting her off please.
I WAS LOSING MY MIND about this.
She thinks she's Oprah...
Watching this months later this was driving me crazy! How rude.
Congratulations Lily! Continued success and continue to educate all of us on the help needed for Indigenous peoples, specifically the continued violence against Indigenous women and children. What resources allow us to help?
I pray she wins……she was brilliant and beautiful….God bless Lily for telling the truth.
The novel is absolutely heartbreaking, too!
It's nonfiction...
Not a novel. It’s a completely true story.
I love her. Period
I love how Lily sneaks in beekeeping
She was in a little seen film a while back, Certain Women. She was wonderful in it.
She was phenominal!
She’s amazing
A classy, dignified, intelligent woman being interviewed by a child.
Amazing actress! ❤
It's always crazy to me how different various tribes are for native Americans.
Lily deserves the Oscar for Best Actress 2024.
I remember that scene ftom the movie.. 😊
It's one of my favourite scenes.
Not Lily trying to discuss the real story while Gayle insists on focusing on Hollywood 🤦🏼♀️
She's focusing on the actor, not the film. She literally asked her how the film changed her life.
The film been covered, it's Lily's turn now.
And interrupting her while she's speaking.. 😆😂
My baby doll❤❤
This is based on a true, dark, murderous story. Why does Gail treat the storyline like a joke? Sad moment for journalism.
I completely agree with you.
Can't stand today's television. But I wanted to see Lily because I was so impressed with her performance in the movie.
The way Gayle generally handles stories always comes off as unprofessional, (in my opinion) unfortunately. The same for this segment too. I was disappointed that she didn't handle this with more seriousness and focus. She spent too much time laughing about how she wants Lily to go to the awards. Gayle missed the main point of the purpose of telling this story and the importance it was to Lily. This role means more to Lily than just winning an award at any of those shows.
Gale doesn’t stfu. First 2 and a half minutes is Gale lol.
Lily was excellent and she’ll most likely be nominated in Best Actress.
But Emily Blunt should win for best supporting. She was outstanding in Oppenheimer. Best performance of her career
Lily ❤
What is going on wjth Gayle? Shes acting giddy as hell over such a serious and emotional topic
Yes, she interrupted Lily when she was making a thoughtful point about the story to talk about superficiality. I'm sure she meant well but she needs to dial it back in her interviews.
Amazing she is!!
Gayle King the most annoying individual or what. Good movie , book is amazing
This movie will SWEEP the Oscars
She really looks like Olivia de Havilland.
Would she be first native if she wins a Oscar. Monumental
Is she native?
@zaibjameel6609 yea I believe so. She teaches drama at reservations
She’s from Black Feet in Montana.
@@zaibjameel6609 Did you watch the interview with the sound on?
Important story
She would play a perfect Ann Wilson in a Hart documentary movie
A large portion of the interview segment is the setup. Just get to the interview.
❤❤❤
3:55 is a perfect example of everything wrong with modern interviewing. You can see it on her face. She’s still talking and they just move on and start on the next question. I like Gayle and Nate, but this format is awful.
Yep, it was evident on Lily's face. I was frustrated for her and for not being able to hear the rest of what she was saying.
CBS morning let the person who is being interviewed speak. Stop interrupting. We're less interested in the interviewer and are more in the one being interviewed. Yet, so many of these "journalists" tend to forget that. It was like they wanted to focus only on specific things in the interview and didn't truly let Lily speak, she was reflecting and talking about her experience with the role yet there were constant interruptions. Tacky.
They interrupt so much
Marry me Lily !!!!
I love HODA!
I cannot process she and I are the same age. I still get carded. She looks like a proper adult.
That's a cool shirt
Stylist are lining up...
Gail is Oprah’s twin in terms of personality
Gayle and her big big joy for actors and performers. She loves them and that's what makes her awesome at her job!
If the interview was about Greenwood, she would not be interupting.
Were DiCaprio and Deniro type cast? Their acting didn’t seem to be much of a stretch.
They did supporting Lily.
Lily gave the performance of our lifetimes... and she got robbed. It's ironic though. They steal her land, then steal her Oscar.
Is she full native?
What do you think?
@@Big_Glizzy. aah shad up
@@pearlfeather9326 enjoy your day punk
Yes of course it change u .. it change u knowing the truth of Osage. Or any other tribe
Strange. Not a word on what the movie is about????
Not all that highly rated. She is good in it though
Fantastic film and her performance was great but she's acting like she's Rosa Parks or something
Had no idea she’s mostly white
I don’t like the “working with this two” why they don’t talk about her as a actress and a real person she already “was” before all “this two” and the reality that is being hidden all this time that “america was never great” if not one of the worst places in human history
I couldn’t stomach Gayle in this interview. She was insufferable.
Gayle king is a horrible interviewer. Constantly cutting Lily off when she’s saying important things
Gayle King , with that really bad wig ,, is insufferable
Bad casting.
How so?
I love HODA!
