That delay on Rocket's weapon is some genius work by the devs and I would have never noticed it until you made this video. He has a minigun, so when you pull the trigger, it has to spin up before it fires. Great work on all of this. Gonna try out your suggestions for the characters I play most.
everything he said about rockets gun was false. ii'm not sure why he lied or somehow doesn't realize but rockets gun is NOT a delayed hitscan, it really is just projectile. like really, test it out for yourself. it leaves a bad taste in my mouth and kinda throws the rest of the video in the garbage for me tbh

@AdventEdge or he made a simple mistake, or doesn't fully understand what a hitscan vs projectile is. Idk what that has to do with the actual crosshair advice anyway
@@AdventEdge I took it as him meaning it just BEHAVES like a delayed hitscan. With the spin-up delay of the gun itself adding some wonkiness in tracking a moving target, you aren't really leading the same way you would another projectile weapon. @@dustydragon568 I had the same thing and in case its not too late, let me explain why this happened and how to prevent it. When you copy a sting (or however its called, those import thingies) it saves that one. You can have only 5 reticles saved. But heres the thing. Lets say you copy the string, name it "winter soldier" for example" then copy another one for magneto and deleting "winter soldier" it reverts to default. The way to prevent this: Copy them from the sheet on the default per character, i dont mean the strings but manually set it per character (and change the default per character) otherwise the second you delete or change a saved reticle, the character it was saved on wont have any info to draw on (im very sorry if this is a vague story, english is not my first language lol) In short: Manually change the default ones, Dont save a "layout" because once this layout changes, the characters using it, cant draw from it anymore.
@@Rabblemuch Thing is, I did that. I manually set all the crosshairs for each character I use, yet, they all still reset. (On console btw, so there’s no way I could copy paste anyway)
@@2pacalypse141so does it stick around for awhile and then it resets? I’m currently halfway through and I decided to test by closing the game and re launching it and it still kept my reticles
Just a couple of suggestions: The Luna Snow reticle being pinpoint is alright, but it doesn't seem like you've mentioned how her Ice Arts becomes a much bigger radius than her normal attacks. Additionally, while Adam Warlock's primary fire is a pinpoint, hitscan attack, his secondary fire that is used a lot for burst damage is actually a rapid-fire projectile. But otherwise, it looks like you've put a lot of time into figuring out these great crosshairs, so thanks! For Luna Snow, I would recommend setting the circle radius to 75, and removing the opacity will be about perfectly encompassing most of Luna Snow's Ice Arts' radius within it's range. For Adam Warlock, setting circle radius to about 70-75 (probably left up to player choice based on how far back they like to play, but mid to far-range is usually where they wanna be) and removing the opacity will help give them a guide for how far to lead their secondary fire.
Your efforts to make this video would’ve been nothing short of insane. Thank you, and pro tip for console players, to save more than 5 crosshairs across characters, just don’t touch the ‘save reticle’ section of your character and you’ll be all good

@AlanGonzalez-ev6ur to me it's easy: I feel more confortable, thus more relaxed, less focused on my aim and more on more important parts of the game, etc, etc... If it's useless for you too bad! But it's definitely game changing for me
@@AlanGonzalez-ev6ur Exactly what I was thinking , I don't feel like having this much extra info will help you , Rocket one was nice but for the ones in which he says "To keep them in range" I don't think it's good
@@AlanGonzalez-ev6ur I do agree crosshairs are mostly preference based and I do think that part of learning how to aim is knowing where to aim. This should be a big help for players wanting to learn a new hero. Once you get the feel of how the hero aims, you can probably switch back to any preferred crosshair settings.
One thing id change on Magick is the size of the circle. You can let go of right click a bit early and still do the same damage as an overcharge, but your circle here is too small if you release when the white fills it here you will do less damage. Raidus 27 size seems to be the correct size for my timing after trying a bit in practice range.
Thanks for the video. Saves me potentially hours of work, and has really helped me improve my aim. What a lot of people get wrong about crosshairs is that they don't fix your aim. Instead, they help you learn how to make your shots.
The fact that this isn’t just a “this is my personal preference and what I like” video, but actually an in depth analysis of how the character works with the cross hair is just insane to me. Please make more like this for future characters since there’s no doubt we’ll be getting more Also the Rocket bullet delay is crazy to me, and probably the best decision Net ease could have made for a mini gun 😅 And lastly as an Invisible Woman main I kind of disagree with her crosshair since her push/pull is a precise hitscan so you need to know exactly where your aiming for that, and hope vortex goes to the center of her screen, so maybe adding a bit more visibility would help with those

Did five for now (Dr Strange, Hulk, Punisher, Iron Man, and Luna Snow) and might do the whole lot at once later! Thanks for the extremely well laid out documentation, extra video on troubleshooting, and all the work in general you put into this.
Personally, as a Wolverine main, I suggest you make the crosshair completely transparent. The hitboxes are a bit wonky due to the 3rd person view, and so your crosshair can sometimes subconsciously mislead you into aiming slightly off your target. ESPECIALLY with how finnicky Wolverine's lunge/snatch can be, if your aim is off due to the crosshair and perspective mismatch, you'll just end up sailing off to the side. By making your crosshair 100% transparent, you help reduce the "misleading" angle of 3rd person, and you end up using Wolverine's character model to aim instead, which is more accurate. He doesn't have any projectiles that need a crosshair to aim with anyway. I've found that after removing it altogether, I've been landing his snatch more consistently.
For Captain America: the Jeff setup works quite well if the crosshair angle is set to 60. This helps target caps primary shield throw; the left crosshair bar for mid-range and inside the circle for long range. (Also there's three separate parts so red, white, and blue, although the yellow contrasts quite well with Cap's blue shield).
Amazing video !! Crazy to think that you’ve probably put in tens of hours to give us this information and people are still complaining about a code when they could pause the damn video !
I would just like to say that I spent an hour and a half customizing every single characters crosshair per your specifications and not only has it helps me learn so many of these characters but as a LOKI main it has helped me beyond belief. When I use his ultimate and turn into another character, I can turn into whoever I want and use them very effectively. Thanks to you.
26:00 I could be misunderstanding but I think it's more accurate to say rocket's is a projectile with no bullet drop. As hitscan but delayed, would mean it hits as soon as the delay was over rather than still traversing to possible interception.
I don't know if this will improve my crappy aim, but the sheer effort and time this must have taken to figure this all out for 30+ characters deserves a raise from YT.
This is actually amazing. It could use some tweaks here and there. Like personally for me I would remove the center dot for pennies crosshair. Because you don’t get any advantage from being precise with her shots. She doesn’t get headshot damage. So I got rid of the center dot, and shrunk the circle down to represent the hitbox of her projectile so I simply need the enemy to be in that circle for me to continue doing damage. And honestly that’s what this is perfect for. You can use it as is, or you can use it as a baseline to further customize your radicals to match your style. Well done 👍
Seriously I’m already having fun tweaking some of these. Like for the punisher I extended the crosshairs out a bit and made the center dot a little bit bigger. The center dot is for your standard fire. The circle is for your shotgun. And then the cross has extend out and are longer to help accommodate for the turret mode Projectile speed. So it helps you lead your shots on moving targets. This guide was awesome

This might be total overkill. But when you said give a thought about iron fist. First thing that came to mind. Is a cross hair that lines up where his kick will land, when you go flying the kick has a built in drop and knowing where to land sounds great

Rocket is NOT hitscan. Hitscan means that the bullet instantly hits the target when your primary attack input is presses (eg. Hela) you can test this by moving farther away from the firing range bot and shooting. there is a travel time and not an instant hitmarker you can hear and see it. Rocket is a projectile character. Apparently resetting to default is a bug that will be patched later. For now I recommend keeping tabs on this video, taking a screen shot of the settings, or using the 5 save limit for your 5 high priority/most played characters.
@ I did for the first five, then when I made the sixth I tested leaving the settings and opening it back up and assumed since it also saved those settings that it would continue to do that and then did all the heroes. That was not the case lol. Unfortunate series of events

As someone who is new to shooters, Ive literally never thought about reticles. The in-depth explanations and settings really helps me understand what they're for and how to use them. Thanks so much for this!
Magik: you dropped off everything after the Outline Width, and the crosshair length is part of your guidance on how to use this setup. I like the information you're presenting, looking forward to those little details!
90 is good
crosshair length i mean
For her reticle, if you set the circle radius to 20, it lines up perfectly with the amount of m2 charge needed to kill 250hp targets with your bnb
@@Relying.how bout for cross hair radius
@@bingbongbimbl assuming “M2” is mouse right click (Magik Slash) that doesn’t seem to be correct…it doesn’t do 250 damage, even in ult. I also have no clue what a “bnb” is 🤔

@@AdventEdgethe comment was dumb but his results after wasn’t, ignoring genuinely good reticle advice over something so small seems dumber tbh
@
if he got something as simple as that so incredibly wrong, would you have any way of knowing how much else is wrong? that's the issue. the guy has no idea what he's talking about and for all the viewers know could be completely making shit up.
This man put out a 30 minute superguide on cursors which WORK and you would look past most of them working well and wonder if he's making things up? Lol most internet opinion ever.
The amount of work you put into this is insane. I don't usually give videos a like but this deserves it.
Croashair customization actually changed the game for me
I climbed from Gold to Plat with 0 losses after changing my stuff.
Thank you for doing specific characters, Ill definitely apply these to feel more comfortable flexing
Hopefully I will have a similar experience. Yesterday, I didn't even play any games, just the practice range, to train how to aim on the different characters I play, because my aim is fine, but not if there are special particle speeds and stuff :D

If you think the default crosshair works for every single character, you are a fool
I changed every hero’s crosshair yesterday, logged in today and they’re all back on default. 😊
That's literally what happened to me too
@@dustydragon568 same with me
@@dustydragon568 I had the same thing and in case its not too late, let me explain why this happened and how to prevent it. When you copy a sting (or however its called, those import thingies) it saves that one. You can have only 5 reticles saved. But heres the thing. Lets say you copy the string, name it "winter soldier" for example" then copy another one for magneto and deleting "winter soldier" it reverts to default. The way to prevent this: Copy them from the sheet on the default per character, i dont mean the strings but manually set it per character (and change the default per character) otherwise the second you delete or change a saved reticle, the character it was saved on wont have any info to draw on (im very sorry if this is a vague story, english is not my first language lol)
In short: Manually change the default ones, Dont save a "layout" because once this layout changes, the characters using it, cant draw from it anymore.
Crazy algorithm pull right here
Just a couple of suggestions: The Luna Snow reticle being pinpoint is alright, but it doesn't seem like you've mentioned how her Ice Arts becomes a much bigger radius than her normal attacks.
Thank you, and pro tip for console players, to save more than 5 crosshairs across characters, just don’t touch the ‘save reticle’ section of your character and you’ll be all good
Using the crosshair for intel during fights is actually a genius move that never occurred to me. Thanks for sharing!
how?
This is the best video ever made for Marvel Rivals
Sure if you're into placebo on a real note this ain't gonna statistically change ur dps/healing much I'd love to see an experiment to see if this actually improves gameplay understand the logic but i just don't think it will quantifiably matter in the heat of a fight
Can someone pls pls tell me how he got the Luna snow reticle to have that yellow like bloom when healing? It starts at around 24:05.
Please make more like this for future characters since there’s no doubt we’ll be getting more
Also the Rocket bullet delay is crazy to me, and probably the best decision Net ease could have made for a mini gun 😅
And lastly as an Invisible Woman main I kind of disagree with her crosshair since her push/pull is a precise hitscan so you need to know exactly where your aiming for that, and hope vortex goes to the center of her screen, so maybe adding a bit more visibility would help with those

i clicked on this video thinking its sum niche video like valorant crosshair guide but boy was I wrong. This is insane how long did it take you to trial all these with each heroes lmfao insane
This is the best guide on this channel so far
Amazing video !! Crazy to think that you’ve probably put in tens of hours to give us this information and people are still complaining about a code when they could pause the damn video !
Dude, this is the best Marvel Rivals video ever! I just applied your crosshairs (with little tweaks here and there) on all my main heroes ❤
I thought this was a bit silly and unnecessary at first but a lot of these crosshairs are genuinely so helpful and good 👍
Actual game changer im gonna give it a try on all characters I play and see if my accuracy goes up
Honestly this was just helpful for understanding better how a character's abilities project into the field.
I changed the reticles yesterday I no longer need to one trick and it’s helped my gameplay thanks
I don't know if this will improve my crappy aim, but the sheer effort and time this must have taken to figure this all out for 30+ characters deserves a raise from YT.
Please get a google doc or something to help import these smoother. This is fantastic work
22:18 for mantis mains
What crosshair is that
@ I’m still
The fact that they don't show the settings for the mantis crosshair is wild
It says loki in the settings?
I can’t find the reticle shown
This is actually amazing.
This guide was awesome
gaming merchant ive been watching you for years and I'm so happy that ur getting the attention that you deserve now that u have left apex behind. i still remember the rampart tips and tricks ❤
This might be total overkill. But when you said give a thought about iron fist. First thing that came to mind. Is a cross hair that lines up where his kick will land, when you go flying the kick has a built in drop and knowing where to land sounds great
3:19 This is a strange looking crosshair, doctor.
Say that again
Because I found this video, changed all my crosshairs and was dominating, til it was reset the next day.. I can't play the game now. The reticles are TOO good and if the game resets it, it kills my experience. I see the comments and the "you need to enter the values in manually." Yeah.. I did that. I'm on console. It reverts back to default, I need to be able to save these. Hard on the word "NEED"
Yep, same. Actual game changer if they fix it.
You are using wrong setting. You have to change default for each character you want instead of making new saves. That way you can make every character have one.
@@cjperkinsboy1293 I did. Though I later realized that since it wasn’t shown in the video (and yes it should’ve been common sense, but I was too focused on the settings), I never hit Save for all of them…
Absolutely PLEASE make if nothing else a short for each new character that comes out. Best MR video to hit the platform.
Dude, i just wanted to give you my fullest thanks for doing this type of video! i spent over half an hour or so watching this over full detail for my characters and tested them out in the range, THEY ACTUALLY FEEL BETTER NOW FOR ME! you have my life and sub my good sir, thank you again
12:57 you didn't finish all the way for magik reticle
Check google docs at top of comment
First off, great vid!!! Second, as a Squirrel Girl guy, when you set the reticle to default, the preview does not reflect it. It's only when you're in game that you see it.
Just marking down the Moon Knight settings for myself later 2:37
Same 😂.
It doesnt work for me
@@jamestamasang6703 luckily he posted another short recently with the Moon Knight settings, they show up on screen where you can get three screenshots of them

Holy crap this is an impressive and herculean task you took on. I'll definitely try these settings later. Thank you so much for the amazing work.
He is Jeff the LAND shark. He is not a normal shark. He is a special breed all his own.
And he deserves his own crosshair. Thanks! Too bad the game makes it so hard to input all these. I've tested them out and they're really ideal.
Great video though!
yes, the heroes page on the website says it's a delayed projectile that travels at 150m/s
I feel like most of the main attacks are projectiles
I mean for me it's not weird i play tf2 but i get why people will get confused (more with a game that has more active players that probable come from games without a notable difference between hitscan and projectiles)
You can verify by going to the official web page and looking up the abilities. Rockets proj travels at 150m/s.
@@giantlactismid5704 Yeah the only hitscan in the game is hela and black widow
Hey just wondering, will you be making new crosshair videos every time a new hero releases?
Thank you, it feels a lot better to aim with Storm now.
Are you playing on PS5? It’s not letting me change the center gap section which includes crosshair and circle radius. It’s grey and won’t let me click it.
Nvm. Just figured it out lol.

Spent a solid hour or so going and making custom reticles for every character just to realize the next day that the game wiped them all. Says theyre all still custom but nope. Idk how that kinda bug slipped through on ps5 but man it hurt. Ace video though; makes goung back through and resetting them as needed a bit easier
Did you find a fix for this without doing them all over? I had the same thing happen to me! Still shows the custom yellow star but all have returned to defaults…
@Schak8215 Sadly no. I've been having to go back in and redo them on the characters I've been actively grinding achievements for. Saved 5 of them but 5/35 isn't that big of a help.
I didnt realise they reset them- i thought i somehow accidentally missaved or something. But ive redone them all twice now-
@KeiQwQ yup. Every. Single. Time. Now I'm starting to check what daily missions i have and changing those crosshairs before playing every day. Is annoying asf
Apparently resetting to default is a bug that will be patched later. For now I recommend keeping tabs on this video, taking a screen shot of the settings, or using the 5 save limit for your 5 high priority/most played characters.
BRO is the goat for posting the google doc too. Subbed, looking forward to your content man.
Love the vid. For peni if you change circle gap to about 35 radius, it'll account for the width of her snare ability.
new to the game and these crosshairs kinda explain to me why i dont hit headshots when i aim on the head, great work
Love that mantis setup isn’t even on here 😂

Same thing

Did you create a new reticle save profile?
@ I did for the first five, then when I made the sixth I tested leaving the settings and opening it back up and assumed since it also saved those settings that it would continue to do that and then did all the heroes. That was not the case lol. Unfortunate series of events
I have done this so many times for my characters for each one to have their own reticle but for some strange reason it keeps resetting all of my reticles to a default even though they're all personally customized I hope they get this bug fixed this is absolutely game breaking does anyone else have this issue?
I'm glad I'm not the only one coming up with cool ideas since the camera angles are so weird in this game Awesome video It's nice to see Some of this we have the same idea for
Yes, unless you save the reticles they’ll keep resetting. The real issue is that you don’t get to save more than 5 reticles, which just plain sucks
Gotta click save
@@freebird9267 but that's the weird thing if you actually go to each character and set their own personal radical in their own personal settings making each have their own reticle so for example I had every single character had their own personal radical for range distance and accuracy but then after a couple days it all resets itself so far it's only PlayStation having this issue
@@freebird9267 I do see that you can save up to five reticles and I agree with you absolutely does suck because there are so many more characters in the game
I appreciate your effort my friend. I universally use dot but have a hard time hitting shots sometimes with Venom and Mantis so I’ll definitely apply these.
