  • Gunna has become one of the biggest rappers from Atlanta in one of the most unconventional ways possible.
While Gunna and Tekashi 6ix9ine were both publicly scrutinized for "snitching" in cases they were involved in - rap fans had very different reactions for both artists when they were released. While 6ix9ine was able to get collabs with artists like Nicki Minaj and Akon, he never achieved the same level of success he had before getting locked up, and was always hated for being a rat. Meanwhile, Gunna's former collaborators turned on him, his mentor Young Thug and former collaborators like Lil Baby, Travis Scott, Future, Metro Boomin, Lil Durk, and more refused to work with him, and he was left to make his comeback on his own. He was able to successfully do so and achieve more success than he's ever had in his career, marking a change in hip-hop and a much different, more positive trajectory than his peers like Pooh Shiesty, NBA Youngboy, Roddy Ricch, DaBaby and more, which we will discuss in this video.

He didn't snitch technically, he just went along with what they were accusing YSL for
