What sold me on this figure was the weapons. I have the Turtles In Disguise set and what I didn't like about Donatello's bo was that it looked more like a stick than an actual wooden bo staff because the weapon had a bend at one end. It was nice to see that the bo that came with him in the new release is that it was nice and straight like a bo staff should look. It's also a little bit longer than the one we got in the Turtles In Disguise set. I also liked his spinning bo effect that was included with this release. I'm looking forward to seeing how I can work that into my display.
Agree! I kind of weighed it out by if I bought a custom 3D printed Bo staff effect it would’ve cost the same amount of just buying this release.

I was on the fence solely because of the boxes, but I figured I had to let them pass by since I have the turtles in disguise. I’m waiting for the Mirage four pack of Wrestling turtles.
That’s the hard part with turtles! NECA alone you have Comic, Movie, Toon, Arcade. For those that collect them all more power to them. I try to limit myself with toon and movies but they get me even with the rereleases.
I pass on it because it's too dark green don't like it also 2021 disguise set ordered from neca store (not from us store) came as matt version same as double packs and sddc 8pack
Yea I probably could’ve passed on these but I thought the accessories were worth it. I have three different sets of turtles now so I keep one set in turtle van, one set in sewer lair, and other on my channel 6 news rooftop. I really should not buy another set 🤣
