It's just styled after a cafe racer if class 3 e bikes are allowed on a trail it's allowed. I don't really have trails myself so I ride with the traffic no matter what I ride.
You can also add a new controller from KT 35A and your bike will really improve. I would definitely upgrade the brakes as you mentioned. The cheapest way to improve your speed is to reset your wheel diameter to 29: on your display and it will outsmart the speed limiter. Nice bike though and a great video Too!
The display menu is really basic and I can really change much. One of the reasons I picked this bike is because it looked so easy to upgrade and still keep neat. I could just buy a kit and have all the parts I need. Have you used the KT 35A.
You could do a whole lot worse for the price, I've seen worse for $1400. They are $650 on Temu but I don't know about the warranty or service. Thanks for watching.
The "display" on this bike is also an HMI and if it goes bad, the bike won't run. I had a bike shipped to me that way. They did send me the part to fix it however. The entire display/HMI has to be replaced.
I don't want to burst your bubble but I'm working on a shoestring budget. The best you or I can hope for is dule 48 volt batteries and 45mph. I don't make any money off my channel so I can't put much in to it.

I would love to build what you are talking about but it's just not in the cards, Im pushing it with the few bikes I have got and if I don't start getting free ones soon my channel will stop, maybe then I will sell bikes off and build something but no one will see it.

I picked up 2 Movcan v30 Max ebikes for $1100 each. These have 1500w motors and 2 batteries totaling 32AH. Had them about a week now and so far so good. I do have a few videos on my channel if anyone is interested.

It actually looks like a really nice bike. I don't think you will be able to get much more speed out of it, even with a 1,000 watt motor. You could try changing the wheel diameter setting to trick it.
It does look good and the way it's built will make it easy to upgrade (the big hollow frame) easy access to everything. I think another 15 amps on the controller will make me happy. I do wish I could have found one with 24 inch rims.
I'm getting a bike in few weeks that is going to one up the H8, but not by that much. I think soon more bikes will be coming with 52 volt batteries then in a few years 60 depending on how the laws are being enforced.

That sounds like your problem is in the display settings. I haven't gotten any info on all the settings on any of their bikes. I will write to them and try to convince them to put a pdf on their site or at least give it to me. I'll email them as soon as I'm done writing you. If I can figure it out on my own bike I'll let you know.

I built a 48 volt 20ah -1500 watt 26'' fat tire snow bike all from Amazon for a $1,000 bucks.. And I don't pedal it either Average top speed is 33mph (have had it up to 36 mpg) I'm putting another battery on it to double the mileage $300 26''Ffat Tire Bike $300 1500 watt motor $400 48v 20ah battery to see it check the video on my page So if you don't want to spend a ton of money & can turn a wrench & strip wires You have less expensive option
This is just an option for people who can't build their own. One day I will build my own but for now I'm just trying to review. Trying to show people how to build a bike would be harder then building the bike.

I'm just a little taller than you and it's a comfortable fit although I don't know what I look like on it. I refer to my H8 as more of a monster truck, it takes off fast and bounds over everything in it's path but is no good with the technical stuff.
Once I installed the second battery I got a bit more torque and a tiny bit more speed. I'll post a video on day once the spring hits hard on one of my baby Yt channels and send you a link. I will also be installing the third battery for a total of 3600Wh!@@MrCsebike
I had to ship my grandson's bike back because of a faulty part (don't know why they didn't just ship the part) and the shipping both ways was free to me. I haven't just returned a bike yet so I don't know. But if you buy prime and pay for prime you have a better chance at free. Amazon just states may be free, and it is most of the time depending on the product and the store. You can ask movcan if you want.
I bought a used Philodo H8 with 21 miles for $950.00 Is that a bargain or what? Doesnt hit 35 mph though. Mostly 30 mph. It now has a little over 1000 miles. So I guess it's o.k.
That's a good deal. If you Know how to repack the motors with grease you might regain your speed, or it may be the settings. If it was in sand or water for to long it gets in the motor and slows it down.
That's not a bike that's a moped... Don't kick you off the bike path for that.. so you can plan on riding with traffic

Most bikes won't work without the display, some bikes don't need them but you have less control. Glad they're helping you get it going.

There are so many bikes at this price right now but that frame looks like one of the best.
Yes I spent about 1.5 months comparing bikes and this is the one that checked all the boxes. I almost raised my price limit.

The fastest I would EVER want to go on a e-bike would be 40Mph. I fell twice on my other ebike only doing 22Mph and tore both rotators separately...

I just bought my movcan and it already broke. Stop shifting gears on the display. Only 1 2 3 works 4 5, doesn't work.
Does it go 28 mph in 3 now, did you go in to the settings? It sounds like you accidently changed it.
