babies are lower ranked and don't eat before or in front of higher ranked adults.
She's not hurting him. She is disciplining him and he needs it. If you watch carefully, she doesn't attempt to bite or hurt him in any way. Rather, she is trying to get him off of KT and out of the way for a change. He is always in the way and constantly hanging and climbing all over. Its evident the monkeys are tiring of his disrespectful ways. They may be animals but they are incredibly intelligent and practice a hierarchal society. He needs to know his place, which is at the bottom.
