Biotic interactions in Bogotá

We spoke with Andrés Del Risco about a project he led with his team at the Botanical Garden of Bogotá. Using a network of interactions between living beings available in the literature in a dispersed manner, they managed to obtain in an automated way the ecological relationships of the species found in Bogotá. This species network, which stands out for being the largest of any city in the world, gives us a unique perspective on the complexity and richness of life in our city.
