You did great, I have a 2002 I'm working on and everything you did I will be doing. Thanks!I also Gravel Grind. I did one in Kansas in 2017. I'm a Mtn. biker.
Thanks so much and good luck with your build! I would recommend plastidip for painting bumpers, etc btw. I've had to go back and redo them and this seems to be holding up much better.
Those old tires made it all the way from South Carolina to Kansas haha. The grey is noticeably warmer than white, but it has help up pretty well so far and we get a fair number of compliments on it.
Love love love how it is turning out. Especially love the colour - it is chef’s 👨🍳 kiss 💋 And the wheels + rims! In your research for paint colour- did you come across “PlastiDip” - apparently that’s THE stuff to use according to my car modding buddies.
@teeterboy3 I bought a few cans of plastidip to try out recently. I've had trouble getting paint to stick well to that new front bumper cover, so I'm going to give that a try. Good to hear it is endorsed by some folks that know what to use!
@@backofthegravelpack I am there for the first two stages of Single track 6 11-13 July, not certain if Gavel Royale is on your Calendar, but it ends in Fernie on 31/07. If not this year then NEXT for certain!

Thanks Frank - much appreciated.
Those dry-rotted tires looked great to me lol. Paint looks good, wonder if it'll be warmer in the summer months.

BotGP HQ has gone mobile! LOL
Well done with the conversion, sir 🍻
Slowly and surely, we are finally making some progress. Thanks Karl!
Looks great
Thanks Steve!
Use some car cutting polish on those front headlights and they will sparkle.
Nice, appreciate the tip. We went with a headlight restoration kit that seemed to work pretty well
A knotted wire cup brush on your angle grinder will make faster removal of old paint & rust. 👍
Thanks for the tip, will give it a try for sure! I did use the angle grinder for some, but found it a bit too much with the wire wheels I had.

looks awesome ! i’ll think i’ll be using #custom!
I think just about everything we do ends up #custom!
Where did you get those nice outdoor mirrows from? Is that original Dodge?
Mirrors are the OEM tow mirrors. They are showing their age but I don't think you can get the new OEM anymore. Van was indeed sold as a dodge.
How much did it cost to get it painted?
Can't recall exactly at the moment, but wanna say between 3 and 4 k maybe?
I’ll buy your mud flap if your done with it
it was looking pretty rough, I think I tossed it but I'll look around
What? Another FBC hat? I/m Moving outta AB! 🤣😂🤣🥰
Clearly a van trip to Fernie should be in our a future.
