I found you and your channel at a perfect time. I have chronic pain and have deteriorating discs in my neck and back which is pinching nerves in my arm and fingers to go numb. I lost my will to want to crochet because I can't feel my fingers, nor could I look down to long. You came at the right time of my life that gave me the will to want to try and start up again. So nice I watched it twice heehee I need to do some scrap cakes myself so I put the Stanwood winder in my wish list on Amazon. If I didn't blow my budget on yarn for the next few months I'd get it now, yarny issues I know LOL So fun to watch you cake up yarn to see the end result after it's been squished and flattened reminds me of those cookie rolls that you slice up and bake LOL

Hi Juan! That colour you didn't have a name for I know as "Old Rose" or "Dusty Rose". I came upon your channel because it came up as a random recomendation. After seeing the name and seeing your yarny background I had to check it out! Also you were talking about yarnwinders and I had just recieved one for my birthday. Needless to say, you incorporated all the things so I ended up subscribing before that video ended and I haven't missed many since then, let me tell ya! I'm excited about the challenge and hope I will get the chance to work with one of your beautiful cakes. If not then I might just make a cake myself, Juan-style, and join in the challenge anyway! Hi Juan I originally heard of your channel from another creator when you started. So I subbed and here I am. I've been crocheting for 58 yrs! Things have changed, mostly how people word/name things. I did make my first granny square for a wedding present recently. How your tutorial showed how to put it together made it much easier.
