She never says the actual words, just refers to it which I feel like is the only delivery of that type of humor I enjoy... also usually not that many details it’s mostly one liners which makes it better... they’re the best!!

Wow! I didn't know that Rue McClanahan was a guest star on "Murder, She Wrote." I knew that from July of 1970 to September of 1971 she was a cast member of the NBC Daytime soap opera "Another World" as Caroline Johnson. Caroline was employed by Pat and John Randolph as their cook and nanny for their infant twins Marian and Michael Randolph.

@@MorristheMinor I remember in an episode of "The Golden Girls" wherein Dorothy, Blanche, and Rose had the flu and Blanche wanted to watch an episode of the NBC Daytime soap opera "Another World." Rue McClanahan wrote in her 2007 autobiography "My First Five Husbands... and the Ones who got Away" that she was cast on "Another World" as Caroline Johnson. According to the show's wiki page; Caroline Johnson was employed by Pat and John Randolph as their cook and nanny for their infant twins Marian and Michael Randolph. Rue described Caroline as "The best nanny in all Christendom, and one Hell of a great cook to boot." Rue further added that Caroline was loved by the Randolph family and by the audience. Though Caroline was also terribly insane because many scenes involving Caroline sprinkling a mysterious white powder in Pat's bowl of soup; which resulted in Pat being hospitalized and giving Caroline ample opportunity to be with John. Caroline's fiendish plot was to slowly poison Pat, marry John, and live happily ever after with "their" children.

Eduardo,the beautician was played by well known actor Patrick Vaughn who also guest starred in the episode titled One For The Show in which he appeared as himself playing the role of Biff, the town drifter and playboy. A very accomplished actor indeed.

The women that did their hair like that are now passing away. Women in their 50’s and 60’s nowadays want to keep more youthful styles. The method, shampoo and set, is no longer used in hairdressers.
