He had a 3 level lead on the entire enemy team of course he's doing high damage
Power creep has gotten to the point where a bonus damage Greninja surf, one of the most powerful and worthwhile moves to hit in the game, is now weaker than the majority of other roster mons and isn't worth the risk at all.
I only don't see the problem with greninja. All of my games with him and players whom Ive played against with greninja have been superb. The only reason I might see people calling greninja bad is because noobs have access to it and it's a popular Pokémon both inside and outside unite. It's not bad, it has high damage and low hp like dragapult or duraludon. It doesn't need a buff.
@@Ueiwbwowheoeho surfs whole thing is going in, which you can no longer do because even defenders deal enough damage to kill you once you try going in.
The real only players that play Greninja now are one tricks, which are very rare, but can do good as they've fully mastered the pokemon....
And still end up dying after going in. Shuriken is infinitely better for this reason; there is a much lower chance of dying than surf.
The other two Pokemon you listed have never done well at all in tournaments, even during their peak (barring duraludon release, of course).
A great gren would only want hp buffs
They could buff greninjas auto attack a bit more, even fully stacked at 15 his barely chipping peoples health, also his defense could use some updating and maybe health or cool downs buffs he is too power crept
Greninjas damage has never been bad. It's judt that he is way too of a glass canon.
Greninja and cinderace are like counterparts except cinderace has the defenses of a broomstick while greninja has that of two😂😂

Looking at it right now, I actually did way better on this moveset than Water Shuriken and it’s not a joke. I have made it work and it’s amazing how much potential it has. It’s just a bit too squishy for my liking but otherwise I would happily play this build as often as I like.

you carry a team and someone gets a lucky K.O. on u during the Ray fight
after you've gotten 30 K.O.'s and took their goals
then u end up losing because your teammates are mid asf
and they don't know how to defend ray during the Final stretch

I have maybe only played Greninja like 3 times, why do they always run Smokescreen for Surf again and why not with Water Shuriken
Shuriken needs the extra damage and dashes from double team.
Surf is essentially a point and click execute with CD's reset and heal if you kill anything with it. It is always 100% times better than shurikan. But people dont know how to play him as a melee assassin as opposed to ranged so they usually opt out from it.

Heal is basically worthless unless you hit more than 2 targets, in which case you're likely already dead.
It is *not* 100 times better than shuriken and only has been at certain times in Greninja's lifespan, the most recent being more than a year ago.
Surf is also not an execute. It deals bonus damage to lower HP enemies. Greninja also conveniently has a point and click execute, being melee boosted auto.
You're barely killing anything with it without ult and will likely die once you do. Surf is almost impossible to play into high cc and high health comps that don't get in reset range from ult and can easily kill it once Greninja loses unstoppable.
@ayncell0 Refer to the last part of my previous comment. I play him as a melee assassin who happens to have ranged auto's if they are at a distance. In my opinoin, he operates better with that playstyle. Water shurikan never outdamaged me in any game and i never lost a mirror match to a greninja who went the water shurikan route.
@@ColossalDrip Greninja has the HP stat of decidueye. That is not an exaggeration. 5152 at level 15. Cris videos should show enough about how that will turn out.
Greninja's melees are powerful but it can't last long enough to land a sufficient amount.
A good shuriken player will always beat a non ult surf, and even if surf has ult up, double team has s to negate a hit.
And this is why I ban Comfey 100% of the time I get to ban in draft. Comfey makes the game so unfun.

Why players are not using absol in competitive matches?? It's unite move can be a help🤔
Its early game is not as good and he solely relies on jungle. Even if that’s the case, the others (Leafeon, Meowscarada and Dodrio) outclasses Absol in every way.
Its ult does less damage when targeting multiple opponents
It can work but there are better options.
It falls off pretty bad late game. Also it ults does low damage if hitting many targets so his last team fight is horrible against a 5 stack pro players. Tho draft opens up his path and that's why you would see him once in a while but overall other speedsters like meow or zoroark kr leafeon just does the job far better.
doesn't matter how well a greninja does for the first 8min, just terrible on the last 2min when everyone has got their level up
