I have this and I actually prefer it to Neural Fortin Nameless, though the Nameless does have more bottom end. This one along the Plugin Alliance Brainworx MegaDual, Diezel VH4, Engl Savage 120, Suhr PT100, ML Sound Lab Amped Dual, Amped ML5, Kazrog AmpCraft 1992 and Softube's MarshallJCM-800kk, I think all of my bases are about covered for Hard rock, Metal and modern Metal plugins. One thing's for sure; I've tried out every single guitar amp sim from every one of these companies I've mentioned the ones that impressed me the most are the ones I've mentioned as my favorites. Of course Audio Assault is still the best bang for the buck and the Neural DSP Archetype Gojira, Nolly, Cali Suite and Omega Ampworks were also great, but not for the ridiculous prices outside of the Black Friday half price sale. Oh, and the new ML Sound Lab (free) ML Drums and $29 dollar Drum Essentials full kit are an absolute steal that rival the sounds of many of my ((overpriced) Toontrack kits, despite not having midi samples and some of the bells and whistles, but for now it still works great with some napping and a midi controller.
This is the best ampsim out at the moment..nice review. People dont realize its not only the best ampsim for heavy tones but also grungy rock tones as well
The 9 String Schecter Hellraiser C-9 was used in this video. These are HARD to find now. Current tuning is A-E-A-E-A-D-G-B-E. It's a cool way to tune because then you have a whole 6 string guitar tuned regular. A dropped 7 string guitar, an 8 string with an octave lower E, and the 9th string when you want to deliver the devastation! Other gear used is listed in the description. What a beast of plugin, I analised it and the harmonics ... It's a fucking beast, even used on keyboards (I'm a keyboard player sorry 😂😅). And it's not very expensive.

I'm throwing my hat into the harmonic complexity ring too. The II II II II has one of the richest gain/distortion engines I've heard. I love cranking the power amp up and loading a bass-heavy IR and just playing low slow stuff. Makes my headphones rattle and my monitors shake! a damn fine plugin. 🍻

sorry, I no longer use Media Composer. Today I use DaVinci Resolve and it's so much faster to edit in.
