Ancient Giants in Montana - Western Red Cedar Groves

A retired US Forest Ranger takes me on a tour of some local hidden gems! The largest cedar example looks like a red wood tree!! It could be 1000 years old. Easily 500 years old.
There is a well known location called Ross Creek Cedars that has dozens as big as this one. It may have 1000 visitors a day. The location we went to may have had less than 1000 visitors in the last 5 or 10 years! A well guarded local secret!!!
I hope you enjoy walking among giants with me! These old growth forest survivors are really quite magnificent!!!
