Morel Chronicles 01 - An Amazing Montana Morel Mushroom Hunt

One super awesome treat during my "summer in Montana" are these "fire induced" mountain morels. Here is a quote from an article about this 2018 season: “In Montana, more morels are found west of the Continental Divide than east of it because the soil is moister and forest fires are more frequent,” according to a Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks morel hunting guide, published in the March/April 2015 edition of Montana Outdoors magazine." montanauntamed....
They are mystical and magical and plentiful and delicious!! In this video I find quite a few. It was a very successful hunt.... AND there is more to come in an upcoming video!!! And I think the recent turn of cooler weather may even extend their season a bit. Fingers crossed!!
