@@LeftyLooseye the oem speakers were $40 each, there's no reason why they should be charging the rest for labor. I ended up changing it myself following this tutorial and it was easy to follow. Too bad I no longer have that car since it was totaled in early 2021 lol

@@chomp54321 damn I am having the same rattle when bass is louder than usual or even if a load car passes by the passenger side. My 2015 is going to be 7yo come Jan 2022, sucks that the speaker is possibly busted. What did you get as a replacement?

I have the same problem and have heard it is a design flaw that makes the glue holding the speakers come loose when it gets wet. Rain or snow melting will do that.

Thanks mate v helpful - had to take the doors off to get at the Bose speakers that seem to have a rust problem. Sounded like they were blown but just needed a clean and some glue!

What glue did you use? I'm having problems with my bose system just sounds like its rattling not blown out and want to get them more locked down

Thankyou - I have a door rattle on the standard Bose system when the volume is at school-boy levels, and it's good to know where the important screws are before trying to force things ;-)
If it can be done with one hand holding the camera, I'm sure that my son and I can cope too

Do you happen to have a video on how to replace the outside shell? A giant rock hit the side of my car and I want to fix it without replacing the entire door. I found a place that has just the shell. Can I do that? Or is specialize equipment needed?
